Your support, at work! 16 ducks on their way back to the wild.
The spring brings us all kinds of babies, but Turtle Ridge Wildlife Center recently welcomed a few rockin' robins to our care!
This just-hatched robin and his/her siblings are this week's #TRWildlifeWednesday
Known for being the early riser and the welcomer of Spring, did you know that robins are territorial and will fight with other robins who encroach on their nests? That being said, they will roost together, sometimes up to 200,000 robins in one roost! Find out more here: http://bit.ly/1Oc8Lhg
Donations provide for animals currently in care and those headed our way. If you'd like to help, click here: http://bit.ly/2r33i8p

Last night and this morning about 6 inches of heavy, wet snow covered Turtle Ridge. The roofing to our waterfowl habitat did not fare to well in the storm and came crashing down. Thankfully all animals and humans were unharmed.
Any help is much appreciated to get the repairs done. Please donate through PayPal on our website www.turtleridgewildlifecenter.org
Happy Halloween from our mascot Optimus!

This little nut was eager to go home.
These rehabilitated ducks have been successfully released into the wild. Turtle ridge is proud of all its successful releases, and wishes the ducks good luck in their new home.
We take lots of care for our younger ones.
Ticks are something we watch out for. We frequently check our patients for them to aid in preventing the diseases ticks carry.
Update on the orphaned baby kestrels we shared a pic of back on June 10th.
All are doing wonderful!
Someone is ready for breakfast!
