***SOUND OFF*** I can’t stress enough the importance of the high velocity dryer!! Desensitizing your dogs/cats to this is so important to help keep that hair down. Although not a replacement to brushing, it loosens the hair and makes brushing more effective.

I had a cancellation this morning so I took the time to groom my girls. Like REALLY groom them… 2 shampoos, conditioner, blow dry and brush . Unlike the weekly rinse and rub I usually do 😂😂. They’re NOT impressed 🤪

Grooming Tip of the Month! It’s been a while since I’ve done one and I apologize for the video it’s hard to do with one hand. I get a lot of questions on how to get the dogs as clean and soft as I do. Obviously product is the main difference between home grooming but also technique. Each dog gets bathed AT LEAST twice, and conditioned. Dogs that tolerated it , get brushed heavily in the tub removing a ton of hair and evenly spreading the shampoo/conditioner. For best results blow drying and brushing after, but it’s always about how much the dog is willing to put up with 🙂 Happy Bathing!! Edit: I want to add that when bathing at home to make sure you put cotton in ears or clean well after with a cleaning/drying solution(or better yet) both!

Part two of Mickey's grooming. After bath, drying , finish shaving and some scissoring. We tried using the dremel today for the first time and he wasn't a fan. SOUND OFF for the first part, that dryer is LOUD. Also please note that is sped up x 2 speed.
