Today Girl Scout Troop 5015 came to the shelter to deliver the items they had collected for the cats and dogs. The amount of items was very impressive. These young scouts are commended for a very successful project !!

Recently the residents of Lafayette Square collected donations for the cats and dogs of the shelter. Their generosity is greatly appreciated. One of the residents, Rita, made the pictured card. Thank you Lafayette Square residents!

A deceased black & tan tabby young cat was picked up at the corner of N. Pearl & E. Carey. It was not microchipped. If you think it may be your pet, you may come to the shelter.

We had a couple strays brought in today. The flame point came from south of Macomb. The tabby came from the Aspen court area.

Jerry and Arya are both out here wondering why they're still here! Both great young dogs full of personality. Great with people and other dogs and plenty of energy to play. They were both brought here with a presumed sibling, both of which have been adopted. We double dog dare someone to adopt one or both of them! They would love to spend the holidays with a new family!

Update: Haze was adopted today!!

Someone left this big guy out here lastnight. He is microchipped but the only onfo available is his name which is listed as Haze. If anyone recognizes him please let us know.
