Apollo is a rare combination of size, flash and puppy dog personality. Gelding, Stout, 16h, 12 years old. Appy Draft. Child safe. Jumping potential, but woul...
Placing animals is a labor of love and bitter sweet. Because if you do it right, we miss them, and they don’t miss us.
I sure will miss my big Beastie love, but she won’t miss me one bit with all the love in store for her at her forever home.
Apollo, officially has clean bill of health.
He’s a 12year old (registration pending) draft with wonderful jumping potential.
Though he is registerable with sugar bush draft registry, we decided not to be associated with them. Nothing crazy, we just found out that the staff is just really mean and we don’t do mean people 🤗🥰❤️
Odette in all her hair-glory 🥰❤️
Beauty is safe at home carrying precious cargo!
Emergency trip to pick up this Angel from up North, today is sitting in the front lawn posing for me. 5 year old Friesian Mare “Electra” is going to become a permanent resident.
Rolling through footage of the last couple months with this angel, putting together her sale video. Why is it that the most rewarding things we do are also the hardest. But if I kept them all I wouldn’t be able to keep doing this work! In order to figure out what they love, I have to love them, and that means missing them when they leave. Beastie loves trail riding and being groomed. If she could just be groomed all day every day she would be the happiest horse. This next two weeks she will be looking for that perfect home that can give her the spoiling she’s ready for.
Introducing Apollo, who has blisters and boils that are healing! He still has many more grass to eat and people to carry before he’s done. Besides his current skin condition, he is otherwise an incredible horse. his color is called snowflake Appaloosa. He’s affectionate, more whoa but will move off the leg and loves to eat.
I’m feeling especially privileged to have been able to consult this wonderful woman in finding her next rescue project and getting him safely home to her yesterday! I love how no day is ever really the same in this lifestyle and I loveeee getting to give second chances to wonderful horses. Consulting on official business is just the newest way I’m expanding that love. Best of luck to this pretty boy with his very first stop being to the farrier!

Welcoming home Black Beauty🥰 my sweet sweet jet black pony with a little chrome ❤️
You can’t put a price on a pony that you can trust alone with your kids, so when we saw winter, bare back and flawless, we jumped at her.
Happy 10th Birthday to the best farm hand ever🥰
Could you ask for anything more perfect than a natural beautiful labor of 10 healthy puppies? 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
My mouse-killer-parrot-cat-dog-daughter, her name is Hope.
Kai prefers to ride his horse bare back, and Magic doesn’t seem to mind the freedom, so today we started to work on his ba****ck positioning to make sure repeated use of this style doesn’t hurt magic as kai gets heavier.
C**t Atlas got his trim last of the herd today
Zee’s trip to Morris and Essex was a big success, meeting wonderful people and seeing gorgeous dogs 🥰🥰
Sometimes living in the south has its down falls and finding people you mesh with being difficult is one of them. Chalk it up to a difference in culture, or a difference in personality type- we have found that the way to explain it is that 9 out of 10 people we meet are usually trying to get the most out of doing the least, while having no respect for their own discipline. But that other 1 in 10 people we meet, are gold— are the best people we will ever meet and are an honor to spend our days with.
For us, While we don’t cloth our animals in saddles by gucci or leads by coach, their happiness wellness and comfort to be able to do their jobs with ease, is our top priority.
So thank you NC Mobile Veterinary Service
You rock, the horses are feeling great and I look forward to reading those articles on wolf teeth removal theory!
Precious palamino american saddlebred mare named Charm 🥰 my new trail partner and future Georgian grande broodmare

My favorite man, out of the ones I know that are covered in fur anyway 🥰😘
This is our newest baby Keikonga, a poodle mix. she’s a sweet little girl but I can tell there is a raptor teenager waiting for you moment to come out and challenge us in a couple months.
Our pedigree Holland lops are named, we went with the theme of Twilight! This is flat faced little girl is “Bella” and the blue eyed cutie is “Edward”
Bunny’s are my morning antidepressants.
It’s been a rough 6months, but these sweet little fur babies bring me so much pure joy.
This little boy and his girlfriend joined our bunny garden, and we feel so blessed to have them. I was only supposed to bring his girlfriend home but this little man stole my heart. He stood at the edge of the crate asking to be picked up and then nuzzled into my arms like a baby! I’ve never met such a sweet pair of Holland lops in my life and I’m so looking forward to drinking my coffee with them in the garden nursery every morning along with the Flemish giants, French lops and French angoras ❤️
Our Friesian c**t, River, getting his big boy muscles in. 🥰 🐎
Xena made her first kill today! A wasp! 😂
Martin, in our second Nigerian Dwarf Buck, we managed to “rescue” as part of a herd. He’s very sweet and gentle, for any animal let alone an intact buck. We had no intentions of keeping even one buck and now we have 3! Luckily, we have a lot of grass to be eaten 😂 🥰🐐
Diary Goat, Nigerian Dwarf, “Virginia” is due with twins in August 🥰
