Ohhhh Cookie Monster đŸȘ she is a looker! She has the prettiest eyes, the most gorgeous carmel latte colored coat, and a very kissable pink nose.

Cookie could live with cats! We would not recommend her in a home with younger children due to her stranger danger fear. Earning cookies love is so rewarding! We think she would make an excellent companion in the right home!

This is Bonnie’s photo from a few months ago. We took 8 photos of her this week and in every one she looks so sad we aren’t using them. The smile is gone, the bright eyed girl look is gone. She misses having a family and the comforts of a home so badly.
Bonnie is potty trained and passed our cat test as well. We have not dog tested her with anyone here but happy to test with your current pet if you are interested in meeting Bonnie.

Meet Bobby Joe!

He is a year old & full of life & energy. He is a Shepherd mix around a year old. He will make a great loyal life long companion . He would make a great running partner or best friend for the kids. He is a happy boy now, but his breed and age wont do well kept in a kennel all day here at the rescue. He’s a young boy who needs freedom to run, play and learn.

Sometimes a rescue dog needs a little extra help to get noticed—a cheerleader, if you will.

When a wonderful gal reached out offering to cold-weather foster, Eric immediately came to mind. With his petite size and short coat, it seemed like a perfect match. The thing is, Eric doesn’t show well at the rescue—he’s a bit jumpy and awkward (and honestly, who can’t relate to that? đŸ™‹đŸœâ€â™€ïž).

Still, this amazing foster took a chance on him, and Eric has been shining ever since. So far, we’ve learned he’s quiet in his crate, house-trained, and absolutely loves his walks. He’s played well with dogs his size and done great with older children.

Eric is such a deserving little guy, and now it’s time for him to find his furever family. Please message us to meet this handsome fella! We're located in Macon, GA.

This 4.5-5 year old fella is dreamy! He is a short stack and a wee bit round right now. He could stand to lose a few pounds like the rest of us. He is a ton of fun, has no reaction to other dogs so we feel like he is dog friendly, but not a match for cats. While did let them slap him in the face with no reaction he did want to chase them any other time. He would be way to rough. He is a short stack but beefy & muscular. He takes treats very gently and seems to have lived inside before.

Yesterday we put out a plea to help get some of our pups out of the weather! One of our former adopters, Heather Comer who owns 3Dog Play and Stay Daycare and Boarding, reached out and said she could take a few puppies!! We jumped at the chance to get our sweet hound babies in a home! Heather was so generous in taking THREE of the babies in yesterday and let me tell you, they are having a blast playing in her big backyard with her pups and a boarder (when it’s not raining) and getting lots of loving from Heather! We’ll be sharing more videos and pics of these babies so keep an eye out! Thank you Heather for giving these pups a loving home for the next few days!! Chance is one of our longest stay dogs, he has been at the rescue since he was a puppy 💔 he came to us in January of 2020 & has yet to find the pawfect home. A foster family took him last winter for a few weeks and has come sporadically to give him shelter breaks throughout the past year. Everytime he goes to their home he has been such a gentleman, quiet and well behaved, crate & potty trained. He hasn’t minded the resident dogs, and we think it’s possible he could live with a well matched doggy friend with attentive parents who will be able to slowly & safely integrate him.
