“Tick Tock,” let’s talk about Lyme Disease! In Indiana, we have an 8% prevalence rate. While that may not seem high, Lyme Disease can be detrimental to your dog’s health. Symptoms can range anywhere from lameness, swollen joints, and kidney failure. This is a preventable disease and we want to inform as many of our dog parents as possible! With a combination of flea/tick prevention and the Lyme vaccination, this organism can be avoided!

With fridged temperatures outside we need to be aware of our pets' tolerance to the cold. It will vary from pet to pet so make sure you adjust accordingly to what your pet needs. With the holidays coming up, we are giving back to the community by donating cat food and cat litter to those in need. We have a wrapped box in the lobby of the clinic where any cat food or litter can be dropped off. All of the kitties in need will be so grateful! ❤️💚

As many of you are aware, there is a new canine respiratory disease that has been spreading quickly across the US. There are still a lot of unknowns to this disease. The Indiana State Board of Animal Health has released an article with signs to watch for & precautionary measures you can take to help keep your dogs safe during this time.
