Happy Labor Day!

We are closed today.

Normal business hours resume tomorrow. If you have found a sick or injured animal. Please contact the Sheriff’s office at (559) 675-7770.

🎃Just a Reminder🎃 tomorrow is our last day of free adoptions. Stop by the shelter tomorrow from 10-2pm and find your new best friend to cuddle with this fall! ❤️

✨Last days of August✨

It’s Labor day weekend! Here are a couple of things happening before August ends:

8/29 (tomorrow) Friday - Foster orientation 3pm at the Adoption Center
8/30 Saturday - Last day of our Free Adoptions! Shelter will be open 10am-2pm
8/31-9/1 - Sunday & Monday - Closed for Labor Day! We will reopen 9/2 at 10am

We welcome September with our first event of the month:
9/2 Tuesday - Cat Spay/Neuter Appointments sold at the animal shelter from 10am-sold out. Must come in person with pet to purchase appointment. *No Feral cats, only Friendly indoor cats* - Madera County Residents only (inlcudes city of Madera and Chowchilla)

Here are the details for next months Spay & Neuter appointments:

•Prices depend on the weight of the aniaml.
•Dogs must be on leash
•Cat in carriers (no feral cats)
•Pets must be present to be weighed
•First come, First serve
•Madera Residents only

⚠️important information: Our shelter is taking necessary precautions to insure all animal are safe from Distemper. If you or your pet have been around any animals who may have been exposed to distemper. We ask that you stay home. Animals who are sick or showing signs of illness. Will be asked to go to a veterinary office or clinic immediately.

Keep our shelter safe as well as your pets.
