Happy 4th of July!

Here are a couple of pet safety tips and things you can do to help lost pets:

1. If an animal is sick or injured: please call the sheriff’s office at (559) 675-7770. The animal shelter will be closed.
2. If an animal is lost or too scared to come out of hiding. Lure it out with some treats.
3. Take a picture & post it on local lost & found pages
4. If the animal is friendly. Have it scanned for a microchip at any Petco or near by agencies. Some vets office maybe closed.
5. Check within a 5 mile radius or near by houses. Animals can travel up to 5 miles away from their homes.
6. Please consider holding on to animals until the owners are found. Make a lost or found report to our shelter. By texting the word LOST or FOUND to 833-545-0636.

We hope all your animals stay safe during our nations celebration. Happy independence day!
