The Trainers...
Marla and Lisa have been friends for 30 + years, that friendship shows in their classes with the lessons they teach. They are straight to the point, honest and caring to all that join their group, very approachable. They each bring a different perspective and experience to each class that is taught or private sessions they book. Marla and Lisa make you feel as if your are part of their family.
Marla Nunley : I have two dogs I adore, our family dog Cerbie a Shepherd, Rottweiler mix and Rowan, a Fox Red Labrador, her and I are working towards certifying her as a therapy dog with Alliance of Therapy Dogs. I’m also, a Therapy Handler with Alliance of Therapy Dogs, with a 6 year old Doberman Brody, Brody’s also a live find disaster dog with Michigan Task Force One, Michigan’s disaster response team. I’m a certified Therapy Tester / Observer with Alliance of Therapy Dogs as well. I’m a Positive Reinforcement Trainer (PRT), certified through the Animal Behavioral College. I’m certified in animal CPR / First-Aide, as well as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Rowan and I have obtained our Novice Trick Certification, and now I’m working towards Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI), we look forward to teaching others all we have learned and more. I feel blessed to have found something that fills me with such joy and fulfillment, teaching others to communicate with their furry family members. I enjoy working with families and their newly adopted dogs, helping them feel comfortable and safe in their new home while showing them all how to build a loving bond and lasting trust with one another. I love seeing humans & dogs learn to sync their lives together with such unconditional love. :D

Rayna and I have obtained National Certification in Human Remains Detection. Rayna, Brody, and I work for Michigan Task Force One, Michigan’s disaster response team. I’m currently working with Ember, my Doberman puppy, training for Human Remains Detection. I am a puppy raiser /trainer, for the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department. Specializing in imprinting bomb and drug scent along with obedience and socialization. Recently I just graduated Oakland County Sheriff departments K9 academy. I work for Elite Detection K9. My newest partner is Dakota, specializing in explosives and ammunition. I am a Positive Reinforcement Trainer (PRT), with a goal of helping humans communicate clearly with their canine companions.
