You’ll notice fewer complete meals in the shop. All of our edible items are handcrafted in our home - it’s a super labor intensive process and we love it!! However, I (Kelly) have been experiencing a lot of health problems and need extra time to get to the bottom of it.

Nature’s gifts walking to the package bins today….
Baby sugar maple leaves for my babies.

Because it’s just these 3, I will still prepare them for safety in my tank. But, I’m only going to rinse real well in Prime treated water.

One is partially dried and the other two are fresh. These tiny little bits will be eaten before they have a chance to mold!

The other day I stopped a lady and some kids at Molasses Keys Preserve from taking shells.

~ She yelled back at me saying, But these are EMPTY!!!!
~ I calmly told her no, please put them down, wild hermit crabs NEED those empty shells. She dropped them.

This guy here is from Molassas Key. 😩

Leave the shell folks. Please help me say this loud enough to those in the back!!!

Saying goodbye to our faithful friend Turk today. My little sugar face is 15. He was the best shop and life companion! This has become his chair here in the shop. I’m gonna really miss my friend but thankful he’ll be out of pain.♥️

I call this step “stick pickin’”!!! 😂 Leaf litter is NOT expensive. It’s valuable! It takes a TON of time to make with our shop’s quality AND in the large bags we sell. It’s also a staple of the hermit crabs’ diet, provides many essential nutritional benefits and they eat a TON of it!!

These will all become part of “A Taste of Home” native leaf litter & will be available 7/11 at CrabCon !!

100% of the proceeds from the sales of this item will be donated to Crustacean Plantation!

Spirulina is a blue-green algae which contains protein, vitamins, essential fatty acids, amino acids, minerals, and phytonutrients. Blue spirulina is derived from green spirulina, but the blue version has a more concentrated amount of the potent antioxidant phycocyanin. This gives it an edge in terms of antioxidant power!

All ingredients in our shop are completely made by nature…we would never put junk or fake things in your crabbies food. ♥️ The color is so vibrant I don’t want anyone to think otherwise!
