She is fast and sweet and we love her to pieces. This girl will be a gem in whatever home gets to call her theirs!
🐾 Daisy is adoptable through @underdogpets
Tonight’s inaugural training session included clicks for the following things:
💡 checking in
💡responding to “kissy” noise (we don’t do name recognition with fosters because the name often changes but like to be able to call them somehow)
💡standing still/not being “pushy” for food
💡4 on floor
Lots of opportunities for snackos today!!
First dinner time training session with Billy tonight. We were working on clicking for attention and reinforcing that with a handful of food.
Never mind the bit where I was overcome by his adorableness and kissed him instead of clicked 😆
Bonnie was SUPER excited about all of the snow this morning (and eats it every time she goes out) ❄️
Training Chronicles Chapter 2 EXTENDED CUT: Touch!
We got our training in super early this morning because….WE’RE GOIN’ TO DAYCARE! (Stay tuned for a SOLID chuckle in the middle of our session today)
I ✨love✨the touch (or target) cue as a foundation for so many other things (I personally use it most paired with recall!). Tony-Tiger is learning it so we can help him become more comfortable in his crate (future chronicles).
Anthony’s Training Adventure: Chapter 1
Aparently I can’t post long form videos on any platform anymore so, you get our training videos here (and late because I got mad at it yesterday!) ❤️ Working on introducing the clicker, and he started offering sits, so we started capturing it!
In 2021 we welcomed Rodney to our family (our newest 4th wet nose @four_wet_noses), which meant we weren’t able to take on new fosters while committing to his growth, care, and education.
We are so looking forward to welcoming Anthony in 2 SLEEPS and helping him find his forever home as our first of many fosters in 2022.
Enjoy this update of previous fosters, and where they are now to round out 2021🎉
In anticipation of our new foster AND the new year, I’d like to do a “Role call” for any and all previous fosters that have come through our home. A bit of a “where are they now” if you will!
DM or share in a comment your photo and a little story about your love ❤️ We love the update😊
What the heck with this cuteness 😍
The one with the marker word, part 1
In this episode of “which one am I training” we have one of the babies learning marker word. Do you know which one it is? So far these babies are SUPER sweet and we are loving having them.
Louise's Lesson in Eating
Today we set out to do a little "capturing" training (a different type of dog training that the traditional "luring" everyone is familar with--involves marking a behavior the puppy is offering voluntarily--in Louise's case Sit). Anyways, SOMEPUPPY decided that she was going to eat too fast and choke a little BUT she recovered and we had a lot of fun practicing sit and stand. PEEP: A few repitions of down
I SWEAR she does more than sleep but she’s just so awkward about it I can’t help but capture it 😂🥰 .
