Well it’s a wrap. Today was the last day of our summer camps this year and we had a blast! The weather cooperated with us and we had sunshine all day long. I can’t thank all the families enough for sharing their kids with us this summer. Here’s to next year.

Day 1 of our last horse camp of the summer was a success. I swear these kids are just amazing. Yes a lot of them know each other but we had several new faces and the seasoned campers took them right under their wings. ❤️❤️

We had a great day at camp yesterday despite the heat. Started it with making popsicle treats for the horses and ended it cooling off in the sprinklers ❤️🐴

Another HOT camp day but we all made the most of it. Lots of baths given, tack cleaned and crafts done. Don’t let that fool you though we still had time to ride!! I had such a blast with this group of kids and helpers. Once again thank you for sharing your kids with me. ❤️

Today’s horse camp was a HOT one but the kids were troopers and we had a blast. A special thank you to Dr. Harvey with Choptank Equine who came out and gave the kids a lesson on equine body composition, dietary needs and overall health…the kids LOVED it. 🥰 They then got to cool off with a fun relay game in the sprinklers. Thank you for sharing your kids with me.

Don’t miss out on summer fun at horse camp. Still have some available spots for this weeks upcoming camp on the 19th and 20th. From 9a-3p. Includes basic horse care, health, equipment and a riding lesson with a lot of fun activities mixed in. It’s 80$ a day or both for 150$.

All camps will be from 9am-3pm
80$ a day or both for 150$
Please have your child bring a packed lunch, I’ll have plenty of water available!
Limiting to 10 kids each day, ages 4 and up

Look who got lunged under saddle and backed for the first time ever ❤️❤️ He wasn’t so sure about lunging with the strange contraption strapped on his back it was way different than what he was used too 😂 but was so brave afterwards to let me climb on not once but twice and just stood there patiently ❤️❤️

And that’s a wrap for our fun filled week of horse camp. We didn’t let the rain get us down today, we practiced our stall cleaning, grooming and vaulting techniques as well as had a blast with some relay races and craft making! And let’s not forget the surprise donuts 🍩 Thank you to everyone both campers and helpers that made this last week such a great time.

Here’s day 4 🐴🐴 The kids started off strong getting the barn all cleaned, horses brought in and fed. After that they practiced their grooming skills followed by leading their horses over some obstacles. Bare back riding was next on the agenda and after lunch break they spent the rest of the time playing musical riding styles and alternated between English and Western saddles. ❤️ Another fun filled day and hard to believe tomorrows our last day.
