For those of you that know of my deep love for and devotion to dogs, today is a big day. www.myalphadog.net is LIVE. I left the remote TV biz to become a teacher, and until the pandemic hit, was enjoying that career change. Hybrid learning and all of its pitfalls motivated me to leave teaching after 15 "official" years, with me trading high school students for dogs. I started Alpha Dog Events & Adventures...for DOGS! in 2021 as a Sunday afternoon side hustle while I figured out what I wanted to do with dogs, or more importantly, what did dogs need from me? In 2025, we are going FULL TIME as an Event Marketing Company specializing in Dog Events (producer of branded events and vendor for hire at other events). From April 27 thru Thanksgiving weekend we also provide "Gym Memberships for Dogs", weekly exercise programs designed to provide dogs with regular exercise, as a benefit to those who;
1. Live in apartments or other dense housing options.
2. Have aggressive or anxious dogs that don't do well with others
3. Are Middle aged, elderly, or incapacitated dog owners who for various reasons cannot get their dogs the exercise they need.
4. Or Active dog owners looking for things to do with and for their dogs.
Our "Pack Members" are extraordinary dog owners because they understand that dogs need regular exercise, and they spend time and money to make sure that their dogs are participating in activities that stimulate body and mind, as well as provide for FUN.
Our Fun Runs for Dogs have been the greatest show on four legs since 2021. We are searching for a location where we can provide indoor and outdoor activities for dogs on a regular basis, all year long.
