es to run and play with other dogs, and has been my personal exercise program since he joined our family in the spring of 2015. For me, that was 53 pounds ago, and dropping! Hiking, ball play, and since 2021, Lure Coursing. Mattingly turns 10 this year and he's slowing down. His little step-sister, Taylor is the face you see in our Lure Coursing pics, and on our Lure Coursing poster. She is nothing like Mattingly personality-wise, but she is the fastest thing I've seen on 4 legs. So much so that we're taking AKC Events like Lure Coursing and F-CAT (I know, means nothing, right?) and rebranding them into exercise programs and competitive events that will help dogs get the exercise they need while providing the convenience that humans require in this busy post-pandemic world. Follow us on social media and consider making your dog a member of the Alpha Dog 's Run Activities & Events Club...or Alpha Dog Club for short. We're a new business in the dog world, but we've been dog people our whole lives. We play with them, nurture them, travel with them, and couldn't think of a life without them. If you feel that way about your dogs, then Alpha Dog might be just what your dog has been looking for. We look forward to meeting your dogs...and you!

Today is , and there’s no better time to show compassion to the dogs who need it most. 💛

Every year, an estimated 30 million pets in the US face hunger, and more than 2.8 million dogs and cats enter shelters looking for safety, food, and a second chance.
Kindness doesn’t have to be big, it just has to be felt.

At our Customer Appreciation Event on Sunday, November 23rd, we’ll be collecting blankets and towels to support Lucky Dog Refuge CT and Army’s Legacy Animal Rescue And Sanctuary, Inc. . 🐾

Because kindness can look like a warm meal, a wagging tail, or the moment a shelter dog finds their forever family. 🐶💙

Thanks everybody who came out for Sunday Fun Runs and PDP Sessions. Some information for the last month of the season for you to know.
Sunday Fun Runs: available any time, however during posted appointment times, there may be an extended wait. Sometimes we are able to accommodate Fun Runs during PDP Session breaks. Best to avoid appointment hours as they are often booked in advance.
Sunday Fun Runs Only: 11am to 2pm (no PDP sessions)
PDP Session windows:
Sunday 9:30a - 11a 2p - 3:30p
Wednesday 2p - 5p, First come, first served
Friday 3 - 5p, Fun Runs Only, 1, 2, 5 minute

Fun Runs only from 11a to 2pm at the Madison Masonic Lodge. We have PDP appointments 10-10:20, 10:30-10:55, 2-2:20, 2:30-2:50.
If you need to come during the 10 to 11 or 2 to 3 hours, shoot for 10:20, 10:55, 2:45

🐾 Meet the Dogs Behind Alpha Dog! 🐾

Mattingly, our senior pit bull, is the heart and inspiration behind Alpha Dog, his love and loyalty got me off the couch and into adventure mode! 💛

Taylor, our first female and high-energy Velcro dog, discovered her love for chasing lures early on and has been our fearless “crash test dummy” ever since. 🐕💨

Together, they’re the reason we do what we do: creating safe, fun, and exciting experiences for every dog and their human. ❤️
