🎉 Alpha Dog 2025: Year in Review 🐾

What a year! 58 events, 1000+ dogs, and endless tail wags. From Fun Runs to pop-ups, we explored new locations like Westport Dog Festival, Walker’s Farm, and Bark in the Park.

🐶 Top Breeds: Australian Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Pitties & Pit Mixes
💖 Charity Impact: 200+ lbs of blankets, towels, food & toys donated, $500+ raised for rescue partners
🏃 Fun Run Stats: 1,357 runs, 24,426 laps, 1,272 miles!

🌟 Looking Back: Ralphie became part of our pack 🐾, we honored the life of Mattingly 🌈, and after a year of growth, we found our home for 2026 at 391 Durham Rd in Madison. Special thanks to the First Congregational Church and the Madison Masonic Lodge for generously welcoming Alpha Dog throughout 2025.

❄️ Winter Health Tip for Your Dog ❄️

Keep your pup safe and happy this winter:

🐾 Protect those paws – Salt, ice, and cold ground can irritate pads. Wipe paws after walks and consider dog booties.
🧥 Keep them warm – Short-haired dogs may need a cozy sweater or jacket for outdoor fun.
💧 Hydration is key – Dogs can get dehydrated even in winter, so make sure fresh water is always available.
🏃 Exercise safely – Snow and ice can be slippery. Stick to safe areas and watch for frostbite on ears, tail, and paws.

A little winter care goes a long way in keeping tails wagging! 🐶💙

If you're looking for space to hold classes, meet-ups, private dog events, we are currently taking applications for fenced outdoor areas. Space available beginning March 2026. Current space available is in Madison and includes the following:
45' x 60' enclosure. level, grass
75' x 90' enclosure. level grass
Triangular area 100' x 160' x 220' level grass with additional 250' x 40' asphalt pad available. Fenced as needed.

Did you know? 🐶 Many dogs absolutely love playing in the snow, it’s not just cute, it’s great exercise and mental stimulation too!

❄️ Fun Winter Fact:
Snow gives dogs a new world of smells, textures, and challenges to explore, keeping their minds active during the colder months.

🐾 Tip for Snowy Fun:
✨ Let your pup romp safely, but protect their paws with paw balm or booties.
✨ Keep an eye out for ice or salted areas to avoid slips or irritation.
