Spooks and Fudge’s babies turned 3 weeks old this past Thursday. They are lively little things and even tried jumping off the table not realizing the distance of it. So far it looks like 2 does and a Buck, which none are available right now.

We got an updated photo of our pretty broken chocolate otter doe from Kayla at Farm Boys Bunnies. We can’t wait to get her next month along with her half sister, a broken lilac. 💜🤎

This beautiful girl will be joining us next month from Onward Acres Farm to help with our tri project. I have been wanting a pretty clean orange girl and glad I found one. I am thinking of calling her Clementine.🍊🩷

Updated photos of the babies. Sadly we lost the black otter and then the chocolate runt, but we do still have 3 remaining babies that are doing great and are plump.

One of the chocolates will be staying if it’s a doe to continue on with my non Vienna chocolate lines and the other chocolate and black baby will be looking. They carry dilute on their moms side so if paired with another they carrys it, they could have lilac babies. 🤩

After much thought and consideration, I am going to let this girl hop as well. I have decided not to keep back many Vienna marked babies and start working more with non Vienna (I will still have a couple Vienna marked litters here and there).

This sweet goofy girl is a black orange harlequin vm. Her black markings are very minimal and are fading out, so when she molts, she will probably look orange vm, but technically and genetically, she’s harlequin. Also she is agouti based as well. She will greet you at her hutch door and soon as you open it, she is perched up on your chest, checking you out, licking the salt off your hands and arms, digging at your shirt, will occasionally nibble at it, and even play tug-a-war with your shirt collar. She’s just full of personality, it is unbelievable and I haven’t had a baby like this until her.

I will be meeting wildhops in September at the Hanover stop, so she can hop on then but I am open to other transports as long as they have a good reputation and positive feedback in the bunny community.

We are officially a week old today. 🥳 Everybody seems to be doing great, even the little chocolate runt who is eating with zest and attacking the syringe while I supplement feed it 3x a day. 🤎🖤

This sweet girl found her home tonight. She will be going to Amber's Flock Homestead to join the official treat taste tester bunny crew. I bet she will look forward to all those tasty homemade treats that are to come in her near future. 🩷🍭

Spooks x Fudge
Yesterday evening I noticed two of the babies, chocolate and black, weren’t getting enough to eat and were really bad wrinkly (a good sign of dehydration and not being fed if you’re new to baby bunny rearing) so I knew I had to do something to help them as I didn’t want to lose my precious babies. I wanted to give them a fighting chance so I am supplementing their feeding with goats milk and heavy cream. Since feeding them yesterday evening and just this morning I can already tell a difference. They still have some wrinkles, but not near as bad, so that’s a big improvement for them. ❤️🙏🏻

Remember these two are our only babies left 👀🏠. Both are full brother and sister and should stay petite like mom. Mom is Cinnamon, a chocolate harlequin vc and dad is Patches, a black orange harlequin vm. All my babies come pedigreed.

Someone is waiting for their pellet refill. Both were glued to the hutch door like little hound dog pups but I was too slow to get my phone out to get the picture of them. Such pretty girls. 🩷

Went and did my morning check of Spooks x Fudge babies and they are looking great. They are getting more pigmentation to their skin and it looks like she already fed them as their little bellies look full and round.🤎🖤

Farm Boys Bunnies Spooks had her babies this morning around 9-10am and I found them hot off the press. I thought she originally had 4 but when I went out to take pictures, she had 5. Looks to be 3 chocolate and 2 black. ❤️

She is stilling 👀🏠

If you are looking for a photogenic bunny that will just sit there and look pretty and not turn into a loaf of bread, this is your girl. I have the most pictures of her verses any of my other babies I’ve had as she doesn’t take a bad picture. She has a nice little head and small spoon ears like mama. She will stay on the small side like her as well. Her mama was excellent at taking care of her babies, so she will most likely do the same if you choose to use her as a breeder.

Cherry Blossoms Farms Cadbury looking extra cute today. ❤️

She was paired with GBR Fudge on July 20th or 21st (I can’t remember which day 😆) and if she took, which I am not sure if she did as she wasn’t very receptive to Fudge lifting wise but he did get 3 falls offs, so if it did happen, babies should be here August 21st. 🤞🏻

Farm Boys Bunnies Spooks is looking plump lately and has been lounging around trying to get comfy. Only 4 more days to go till hopefully babies arrive. She hasn’t made her nest yet nor has she been hay stashing like my others do a week in advance, so I premade her one in her box just in case. Who knows, she may be a last minute prepper. 🤷🏻‍♀️ All I know is, I hope she will be a good first time mom and I cannot wait to see these babies. 🤞🏻

Putting some feelers out there for this girl to see if anyone is interested in her. I was gonna keep her but I need the space and I figure I can always do a repeat breeding of the parents in the future.

She is a black orange harlequin doe VM. Carrys chocolate on moms side and will be petite like her, so no more than 3ish pounds when full grown. She has a nice head and ears and sits real pretty for you to take pictures of her. Her bday is 4/19/24.

I will be meeting wildhops in September at the Hanover stop so she can hop on anything after that or if you want to pick her up local, I will meet up to 30 minutes away on the weekend.

Today Quincy, the last of Poppy and Patches babies, left for his new home where he is going to be an incredibly spoiled house bunny and perhaps even binge watch some good tv shows with his new human. They said he sprawled out on their lap on the ride home which sounds like a good match to me. We are extremely happy and pleased with such a good outcome and match for him.

We will be welcoming these 2 cuties, one a broken chocolate otter doe an a broken lilac Buck in September from Farm Boys Bunnies. Both are from clean lines as I would like to work on that and produce some babies for 4h kiddos in the near future plus work on some otters.

Kayla was nice enough to give me a peek at their dads picture and let’s just say, he’s a nice looking Buck, so let’s hope these two turn out just like him. ❤️🤞🏻

She has found her home and is going to be joining Rachel at Hidden Hollow Homestead 🩷

I’ve decided to let this one hop and just keep her sister. She looks a lot like her dad so I figured I could always do a repeat pairing in the future. She is out of a chocolate harlequin vc doe and a black orange harlequin vm dad. She should stay small like her mom. She was born 4/19/2024 so she is good to leave whenever.

Last one of Poppy x Patches babies needs a home. He is a black orange harlequin vc Buck. His features aren’t the best as his half brother I posted so he will be severely marked down to move and without a pedigree unless you desire one. He is a little more reserved about head scratches but he will great you at his hutch door. He should get around 4 pounds when matured.

Last one left from Cinnamon x Patches litter is this handsome orange vc Buck. He will be petite like his mom so he should get no bigger than 3ish pounds. He has nice smaller ears and a decent head. He could possibly be a 4h project for your kid when the fairs roll around again or he can be used as a breeder to help produce more petite babies. He is a sweet boy and doesn’t mind his head scratched. There is chocolate on his moms side.

Our chocolate otter boy, GBR Fudge. He is currently molting but still handsome and sweet as ever. This boy loves his head rubs and will sit at his hutch door begging for some. We have paired him with Farm Boys Bunnies Spooks in hopes to get some chocolate babies and maybe some otters too. 🤞🏻❤️🍫

Our clean line tri buck finally made it here last night. We have waited several months for him and it was well worth the wait. He is beyond handsome and sweet as he can be. He already runs up to your arm and sniff, licks, nips, and chins you. 🥹🥰❤️

This handsome boy is the last in his litter looking for his forever family. He is Orange vc and carry’s chocolate on his moms side and will be petite like her. He is a very mellow boy and greets you at the hutch door for feeding and head rubs. He can leave at anytime.
