The City of Madison Webster Animal Shelter is a state of the art, climate controlled "no kill" shelter which provides boarding for homeless and abandoned pets. The shelter is located at 525 Post Oak Road in Madison, MS. Adoption hours are Monday-Saturday, 11am - 5pm and 11am - 3pm on Sundays. The telephone number is 601-605-4729. When considering an individual or family pet, citizens are encourage

d to consider adoption of one of our community's rescued animals. The animals are eagerly awaiting a loving home. A pre-adoption form is available for those who wish to apply for adoption of a pet. There is a $100 adoption fee for dogs, $25 for cats, and $75 for kittens which helps to provide for the continued support of the center so it can continue to provide rescue services for abandoned and neglected animals. Look at these babies! We think they are about 9 weeks old, unsure on the full breed but we have the mom and she's a pretty lab mix. 2 girls and 1 boy available!

Meet Polo 🐶

Polo’s story didn’t start the way it should have, but despite it all, this 9 month old pit mix has nothing but love to give. From the moment we met him, we knew he was something special.

Polo is a happy, bouncy boy who greets every day with excitement. He’s got a little hop when he’s amped up, and his joy is absolutely contagious. He’s still figuring out how he feels about other dogs, so slow introductions would be best for him. But with people? He’s all ready to be your best friend and is looking for a family to call his own.

He has been neutered, is heartworm negative, and is up to date on all general vaccines (rabies included). The adoption fee is $100, we can only accept cash or check. Come visit him and call if you have any questions 601-605-4729!

This adorable pair of 1.5 year old Jack Russell brothers are looking for a patient and loving home. These sweet boys are a little shy at first, but with time and gentle care, their playful and affectionate personalities come out.

They share a special bond and might do best staying together, we're hoping for that.

Meet Puddin 🐶

She's a 1 year old bundle of pure, unfiltered energy! This playful wild child has a need for speed - zoomies are her favorite sport and she fully holds the champion title! When she’s not zipping around, she loves soaking up all the attention you can offer.

While she’s sweet as can be with people, Puddin is still figuring out how she feels about other dogs and would do best solo while she settles in to a new home. Dog friends could be made slowly over time, however we would not recommend pairing her with cats.
