Make sure you are giving your dogs heartworm prevention year round! “D. Immitis” is heartworm. This was from a dog that comes to us and recently tested positive for heartworm. With all the rescue dogs coming from the south, the heartworms are making it this way also! Please, please use prevention! Treatment is expensive and hard on the dog!
