We're heading to Iowa County Humane Society next week to offer affordable spay/neuter transport for pet owners in the area! Pick-up and drop-off will be at the humane society, and all animals will receive top notch care from our talented team.

Did you know we offer a “pay what you can” thrift store with new and gently used pet products at our clinic? Anyone is welcome to utilize this service, and any proceeds are donations to our nonprofit clinic. We were lucky enough to have a pallet of dog food recently donated, and we want to share it with our community members. If you’re in need of supplies, please stop by!

This , please consider supporting our sister organization Shelter From The Storm. We are honored to provide care for hundreds of animals that pass through the rescue each year, including their major medical cases. It takes a village!

Join us this in celebrating and supporting our major medical cases! We are proud to have taken in dozens of animals dealing with medical issues this year, from mange to fractures to cherry eye and more. Cases like these require an extensive amount of resources for our small rescue. We get to say YES to saving their lives thanks to your continued support. Training is incredibly important to making sure our team is working together and providing the best possible care for our patients. We recently spent a day doing some practicing on our staff animals of various surgical prep tasks. It was a great opportunity for our staff to work on team building, learn from our experienced staff, and ask any questions they might have.

Did you know WCVC is a registered 501c3 nonprofit? We rely on the generosity of those who believe in our mission, so we can continue assisting pet owners access affordable vet care. One way you can help is by donating an item from our wishlist! These items are used for our clinic patients, or shared with community members who are unable to afford basic supplies through our thrift store.

Meet Rudy! Rudy presented to the clinic with two broken legs after an accidental injury. Our team on site was able to do surgery for Rudy and was able to apply plates in his legs. Rudy's Story is unique and we would love to share a little of his journey so far from his parents. "My boyfriend and I adopted Rudy on January 20, 2024 from Little Buddies Rescue in Mukwonago, WI. They had rescued him from a horrible puppy mill only a few weeks before that. He came to us very shy, not used to receiving love from other people, and malnourished. With lots of love and care, we have been able to turn him into the joyful, playful, and happy boy that we, as well as your staff, see today. With his injury, we’ve had to find a new way to take him on walks, so we bought a dog stroller so he can still get that fresh air he enjoys so much. He is a huge cuddler and absolutely loves to sleep on someone’s chest." -Rudy's Mom and Dad :] We love seeing Rudy for his weekly bandage changes, can't wait to see his full recovery!
