April’s stay-n-play spotlight goes out to Blossom! Ms. Blossom is an 11-year-old retriever mix who has been coming to Central Bark for four years! When Blossom walks into the lobby her tail is wagging and she’s ready to go! Once her suite is set up just right, she will curl up on her blanket and people watch until she is off to her play sessions! Blossom knows exactly where to go when it’s time to play and she will lead the way to her playgroup. Now Blossom enjoys doing just about anything, however she has a particular love for playing fetch. Good luck getting the tennis ball back from her, as once she’s got ahold of one, she doesn’t want to let go! Blossom’s other interests include playing tug of war with the handler, playing keep away with squeaky toys, and posing for pictures! Enjoy your month pretty girl!

April's Dog of the Month is the sweet and sassy, miniature pinscher mix Tilly! Tilly turns 5 this month and has been coming to Central Bark since she was a puppy in 2019! Tilly comes in in the morning walking tall with her tail wagging, ready to start her day! In group, Tilly likes to establish a good spot to nap first thing in the morning. After catching up on her beauty rest, Tilly will pop her head out to take some adorable photos, and get treats from her handlers. Tilly loves lunch most days, but getting a treat with whipped cream on top really gets her wiggling! Tilly is not always a big fan of people other than her mom, and we are honored to be in her group of people she likes. She makes Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays extra special around here.

We love you Tilly, we hope you have a great month!

During our play sessions at Central Bark, we work on group play skills to help dogs practice important behaviors and life skills like name recall and group sit. These activities are fun and rewarding for your dog and help improve behavior and impulse control, prevent overstimulation, and creates a safer social environment! 💜 Mikayla rocked the group sit, getting her whole group to sit! Awesome job! 🐾
