FC Texas Tuff “Tuff” won the 2024 NGSPA Quail All Age Championship. Big thanks To Chad Natalie Caballero Inderman & James Sarah Foster Messer for watching Tuff and giving Keith a few minutes to come back and check on me after my c**t and I went down in a hole and also Brandon Blum for taking over the last 12.5 minutes for me. Congratulations also to Brandon who went RU with Hewey!!

Other placements for BDK was FC/AFC BDK’s Texas Hold ‘Em “Tex” went RU in the OSD and in the AAA David O'Brien went RrU with FC BDK’s Twelfth Man “Aggie”

Well just when I was fixing to name this munchkin he had Phil Haven’s from Colorado Springs come look at him and watch Keith run and work him and shoot birds for him and now he’s on his way with Phil and Phil’s brother Jeff Havens whom we haven’t seen in some time and got caught up. So excited to see what’s in this guys future . He’ll be coming back to Kansas in May to be yard broke and force broke to retrieve then staying for summer camp. See you soon and safe travels to Oklahoma and home to Colorado Phil & Jeff.

**FOREVER HOME FOUND**

Have a real sweetie that would make someone a great Christmas present and long time hunting companion. He’s 5 months old points, has had birds and guns shot over him and has been run off the 4 wheeler/UTV.pointing picture was taken this last week and video was taken a couple weeks ago. (Video isn’t the greatest but you can see he points and eventually gets the gun and bird shot over him.). Pup is nominated for both Futurities and double registered. He’s out of BDK’s Sylvania Blue “Sylvie” who is out of FC/AFC BDK’s All That Jazz x Uodibar’s Against All Odds and NAGDC/FC/AFC/2 xNGDC RU BDK’s Sam I Am “Sam” who is out of 2xNGDC/FC CLK’s Point Me The Way x NFC/NGDC/GFC/FC/AFC Slicks Cuttin Wild.
Fifteen hundred 💵. **Pup has to be picked up here at the kennel in Madison Kansas we do not fly our pups/dogs**

I’m finally home and the 2023 GSPCA Nationals is a wrap. We finished today with NAFC/NGD RU Champion/FC BDK’s Sam I Am “Sam” being awarded National Gun Dog Champion Runner UP again making him a 2x NGDC RU. Sam had a great 2023 National going National Amateur Champion and now going Runner Up in the open. Congratulations to his owners David O'Brien & Peggy L. O'Brien!! And another National title to Allie’s get Jerry Alden!!

Owner/trainer Keith Gulledge wasn’t here today for the 2nd day of 2nd series as we had 400 head of weanling steers and heifers come in on the ranch we also manage. But Keith brought to my attention that in all his/our years of training dogs, Sam is our 1st ever GSPCA NATIONAL AMATEUR CHAMPION we’ve ever had !!! We’ve had plenty of NGSPA NATIONAL AMATEUR CHAMPIONS but never a GSPCA!! Congratulations honey on another Major accomplishment !!!

Thank you Thank you David, Terry and Larry Bradley (stepped in to take Terry Bomer’s scouting position ( on Sam & Stick) after David fell and broke 5 ribs. With FC O’B’s Stick In The Mud “Stick”

Woohoo Huge to David & Peggy O’Brien and Terry Bomer for winning the 2023 GSPCA NATIONAL AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP WITH NEW NGDC/ NGDC R-U/FC/AFC BDK’s Sam I Am “Sam” bred and trained with/at Blue Dawn Kennels!! Loved by us all!! Huge Thanks to Terry Bomer for scouting Sam in the 1st series with David at the helm and Terry for taking over the helm in the 2nd series as David went off his horse and busted 5 ribs at the end of the 1st series running Satchmo. And another huge thank You out to Larry Bradley for stepping in and scouting Sam and Stick (3rd place)!

Well BDK and team had a good weekend in Nebraska:

Open All Age- BDK’s Molly’s Game 1st

OLGD- Tex 1st (w: me handling), 2nd Satchmo and 4th Junior

OD- Lady 2nd

OGD- Stick 1st, Sammie 2nd and Janis 4th

LAA- Callie 3rd and Molly 4th

Chief won the ALGD with owner Rusty Robinson and finished his AKC Field Championship (pending), Satchmo 2nd and Tex 4th with owner David O'Brien

AGD- Stick was 2nd and Junior was 4th

We still have 4 handsome bold lovable 8 week old male puppies ready for new kennels. Pups will be double registered, have had 2 series of shots and wormings. The male spoken for is leaving this Saturday morning so I will post the color collars available then. Southeastern Kansas (Madison). Fifteen hundred. Here’s their pedigree.
