A friendly reminder from Community Care Veterinary Clinic: Everyone knows (or should know!) that dogs do not belong in cars on hot days, but did you know that hot asphalt can be dangerous for dogs as well? A temperature of 87 degrees is equal to the pavement being 143 degrees! Remember to check your dog's paws for signs of burns or be aware of the hot temps on the sidewalks. Ouchy paws are no fun for anyone!

Just a friendly reminder from your friends at CCVET: Even on a 65 degree day, the inside of a car can quickly turn into 90+ degrees! When in doubt, leave your furry family members at home.
