Did you know that November is National Pet Cancer Awareness Month? Well, now you know!!

At Madison Animal Hospital, we strive to detect cancer early on so that we can immediately begin treatment. One way we do this is by having our doctors check external lumps or masses on our patients. Our doctors will also take cytologies of these masses to determine if a lump is cancerous or not.

In addition, we recommend annual x-rays to our senior patients to check for any internal masses or anything out of the ordinary. And the best part is that if you have Care Club and your dog is over 7 years old (10 years old for cats), these annual x-rays are covered! Call our office at 973-377-1515 to book an appointment! 🐾

We are saddened to share that our beloved groomer, Valerie, will be parting ways with Madison Animal Hospital effective November 1, 2024. After 19 wonderful years of dedicated service, Valerie has decided to pursue new opportunities, and while we are saddened to see her go, we wholeheartedly support her in this next chapter of her career.

Valerie has been an integral part of our team and has provided exceptional grooming services to our clients and their pets throughout the years. Her passion for animal care and her warm demeanor have made a lasting impact on both our staff and our clients.

We want to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to Valerie for her hard work and commitment to the Madison Animal Hospital community. We will miss her greatly and wish her nothing but success and happiness in her future endeavors.
