Right now, Coco is in a temporary foster home in the Madison area with an incredibly kind family who stepped up when no one else could. But they already have pets and kids and can only keep him until March 10. Over the next two weeks, he will be passed between two, possibly three, families who are doing their best to keep him safe. However, he desperately needs a stable, long-term foster or, even better, a forever home. Our rescue is unable to take him in, as we no longer foster due to insurance limitations and the difficulty of securing fosters. If no one steps up to adopt him or another rescue can’t take him in, he will have to be surrendered to the Dane County Humane Society. Does anyone know anyone? Please share his story! He is currently in a very temporary foster situation in Madison, WI Please share his story, as he needs a new home ASAP. Coco is a 4 y/o Black Mouth Cur. He is being neutered and brought up to date on his vaccines this week by some kind community members. NorthStar WI is assisting these kind-hearted volunteers who have taken Coco under their wings. Topo is a 4 y/o male hound mix who is looking for a new home. Topo is a sweet and affectionate dog who loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch with his humans. He is also athletic and loves to run around and play games like frisbee and chase tennis balls. He is very intelligent and has been taught a lot of tricks using positive reinforcement techniques. EMERGENCY: Do we know anyone who can foster a 2 year old male German Shepherd Dog. This will buy him more time to find a forever home. Vegas' family must rehome him due to landlord issues. He currently lives with several kids and another dog. We only have a couple of days to save this dog. If turned back to the shelter - he will most likely be euthanized as he can't handle the stress of that situation.

UPDATE: A new home has been found!!!

Angus (left) and Sadie (right) are looking for a new home. They are brother and sister from different litters (same parents) Both are Australian Shepherd & Border Collie mixes. They have been raised outside on a farm in Dane County and are really hoping to find a new farm or country home. They can be adopted together or separately. They are very smart, loving, affectionate and protective as these breeds are known to be.

He is an adorable mix of Boxer and a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Please share this post and his story! NorthStar is helping the owner with rehoming. Jingles is 7 years old, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He's low activity and has lived with other dogs in the past but is leash reactive so slow intros are necessary.
