As we approach the end of another year, we reflect on the countless lives transformed through the love and support of our community. At Custom Canines Service Dog Academy, our mission to raise, train, and place service dogs with military veterans and first responders is not just a job—it’s a calling. These brave individuals often face challenges that many of us can only imagine, and together, we can make a profound difference in their lives.

This year, we’ve seen an increase in requests for our services from veterans and first responders who desperately need the companionship and support that service dogs provide. From Post-traumatic stress to mobility challenges, these heroes have given so much, and they deserve the best care and support we can offer. By donating to Custom Canines, you’re not just funding a program—you’re changing lives. Here’s how your generous contribution can help:

$75.00 provides a puppy with toys, bowls, chews, etc.
$150.00 provides premium nutrition for two puppies for one month.
$300.00 sponsors heartworm and flea/tick prevention for one puppy for one year.
$500.00 outfits a service dog hero with a collar, leash and custom harness.
$1,500.00 sponsors vet care, food, treats, and toys for one puppy for one year.
$25,000.00 sponsors a complete team placement.

When you support Custom Canines, you’re giving the gift of hope, healing, and companionship. Each dog we train not only enhances the quality of life for a veteran or first responder but also creates bonds that last a lifetime. Your contributions enable us to continue our work at no cost to those we serve, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of healing.

As the year comes to a close, we invite you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to Custom Canines Service Dog Academy. Your support can help us reach our year-end fundraising goal of $50,000, allowing us to train and place even more service dogs in the coming year.

Visit https://givebutter.com/H8soHs to make your donation today. Every dollar counts and brings us one step closer to serving those who have served us.

As we close out the year, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support. Together, we can create a brighter future for our military veterans and first responders—one paw at a time.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season filled with love, gratitude, and hope.

Custom Canines is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization of dedicated, volunteer professionals and individuals who create and support lasting partnerships between highly skilled service dogs and the community of mankind with diverse disabilities.
Beyond supporting our Veterans and First Responders, Custom Canines dogs helped the community in Mount Horeb after a school shooter incident occurred in August. Since then, Custom Canines has worked closely with Dane County Emergency Management and were called upon again to respond to the shooting at Abundant Life Christian School.
If you are looking for a worthwhile organization - that is helping our community - and have some year end money to donate - please consider sending this organization whatever you can spare.

As comes to an end, we have one last story to share. An important member of the CCSDA team, Bob, writes, "Without my service dog, I would be without a 'Mission in Life.' He gives me confidence and the desire to pay it forward."

We love you, Bob. ❤
