Bryn Returns!!
In early 2024 one of our Littles, Bryn was attacked and nearly killed while on a walk with her mom, right outside of their home on the sidewalk. Bryn is a Teddy Bear, the dog attacking was a Pit Bull. Bryn & her mom’s lives could have been cut short that day.
Bryn’s mom made the decision to try and save her life, and to piece back together something resembling a normal life even though Bryn’s head and jaw would never be the same. Would Bryn be able to be around dogs again? Certainly on walks she’s fearful, who wouldn’t be?
Today was Bryn’s return to the place she once knew as a safe space. Where she used to romp with all of her besties, without worry. No one knew exactly what to expect but we DID know how to set Bryn up for the best chance of a smooth transition.
Today hearts are full, and our Bryn is going to go home happily exhausted. Welcome back, Bryn, we’re so glad your mama fought for you 🧡💪🏻🩵
We say animals can pick up on human levels of anxiety/stress, and perhaps our doggos know that today is a big day across the US. They can also provide grounding perspective & humor. Here’s to a great day of play, no matter what day it is ♥️🤍💙🧡🩵
