Merry Mavis Christmas 🤶 🎄🐾

Mavis has been very good this year and is sure she’s on the nice list. We are excited to spend another Christmas with her, but are hoping she can find her forever family soon!! How perfect would it be if she had her very own family to ring in the new year with?! Can you help??

Mavis is a 2 year old pitty weighing about 50 pounds. She is actually fairly petite and small in stature. She is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and plays well with other dogs! She’s the whole package!

Miss Sophie says that winter in Wisconsin is easy! She’s been hanging out with all of her pals, lounging around getting belly rubs, and taking plenty of naps. 🐈❤️🐕

Sophie is roughly 8 years old and around 12 pounds. She is very sweet and goofy! She is good with cats and other dogs. She doesn’t play much with her canine friends, but is more than happy to hang out and snooze 😴 Sophie loves going on walks when it’s not too cold.

Tootsie and Sophie’s first bath and Tootsie’s most recent bath with Sophie keeping her company always ❤️ Tootsie’s hair has been regrowing great and her skin healing more and more every day! She just had a dental and had about 8 teeth pulled and she is feeling grrreat! Sophie is next up for a cleaning 🦷🪥 These girls have come A LONG ways since arriving in Wisconsin almost two months ago. You can tell they are so grateful for being rescued and getting a second chance at a life they deserved all along.

Sophie and Tootsie are both estimated around 8 years old, roughly 12 pounds, and available for adoption! They are great friends, but not bonded and available for adoption together or separately. Inquire for more information!

Sweet sweet Sophie 💖

Sophie is an 8 year old Papillon mix weighing about 12 lbs. She was surrender to the shelter in Alabama with her friends, Tootsie & Ruby. Tootsie and Sophie varying cases of mange and very obvious signs of neglect. Yet, they are so so sweet 🥰

Miss Sophie has been enjoying herself in her new environment. She likes to explore, go on walks, eat new yummy treats, and snooze in cozy beds and blankies. She has a hard time going up stairs and needs a lift, but can come down on her own. She is trained to do her business on a potty pad and we are working on establishing a routine for outdoor potty breaks. She is catching on quickly! If you are looking for a little old lady to be your best pal, Sophie is a great choice!

What is a best friend? A best friend is someone that loves you unconditionally. Someone that believes in you even when you don’t believe in yourself. Best friends support you no matter what and bring out the best in you.

Fats is a best friend. Mavis is a best friend.

The foster dogs that we have the honor and opportunity of caring for come from some pretty dark places. People have failed and mistreated them, given up on them, discarded them like they were nothing. Yet, they still love unconditionally. They care about each other and their humans. They still believe there is good in the world and that every day is a gift.

If you have EVER considered fostering you absolutely should give it a chance! You might meet your best friend. You will save a life and make an impact.
