Congratulations are in order!! 🎉

Thanks to the loving support of our fabulous foster homes,Miss Peggy’s Feline Maternity Palace & Kitten Orphanage, Mama Mystery gave birth to 5 healthy kittens today! 🎊Mystery just arrived in Wisconsin this weekend. It’s not uncommon for pregnant mamas to give birth shortly after transport when they start to feel safe in their new space. And it’s impossible to feel anything but safe and loved in Miss Peggy’s home! 🥰

Miss Peggy reports: "Mystery is extremely protective, so I was only able to get pictures of 4 of the 5. I’m letting her be & will check on the little family every few hours. We are ever so grateful that Mystery and her precious babies are safe & warm, inside, cuddled together!"

Miss Peggy takes in and cares for dozens of pregnant mamas and kittens every year. 👏🏼She’s an incredible part of our kitten fostering system. We couldn’t do it without her, and we can’t do it without you! 🐾 Meet Toby & Rocky: The Sweetest Bonded Pair Looking for a Forever Home Together! 🐾

Toby and Rocky are a pair of senior pups who have been through a lot, but their bond remains unbreakable. These two lovable companions lost their home when their owner passed away and are now hoping to find a safe, quiet place to enjoy their golden years. 🐾❤️

Toby, the adorable little fluff, is 13 years young and still full of life. His big, dark eyes sparkle with joy, and he loves everyone – from people to other dogs. Toby also has a playful side, especially when it comes to barking at cats (though he's harmless, and his foster’s dog-savvy cats aren’t bothered)! He’s easy on the leash and just needs a little help with house-training. 🐶💕

Rocky, the handsome old gentleman, is equally sweet and friendly. He’s a social butterfly who loves all people and dogs. He walks well on a leash and is a work in progress with house-training. Rocky's idea of a perfect day? A cozy spot to relax, lots of cuddles, and of course, his best buddy Toby by his side. 🐾❤️

These two may be seniors, but they still have so much love to give and are looking for a quiet, loving home where they can enjoy the peace and comfort they deserve. Last week we put out a desperate plea for puppy supplies since we currently have 29 puppies in our care and were 100% out of kibble. As usual, our community came through in a huge way, and we are stocked up on things to help these babies start their lives with healthy and nutritious food! 🥰 Our fosters rely on donations for everything from beds to pads, crates, toys, shampoo, cleaning supplies, and food, so these donations really do make a huge difference!!

Gigi, DD, Drew and Midge are all about 12 weeks old and growing up quick! They love to play and hardly ever sit still. 😅 They’re doing great with potty training though they’re not so sure about the cold weather. Kurt Schneider is a local artist who is volunteering his time and talents to Underdog adopters. 🥰 Each month, Kurt picks a name from a hat and paints a picture of pets adopted from Underdog. 📩Simply submit a picture of your Underdog alumni to [email protected] for a chance to win!

🧡Laura was the recent winner and will be receiving Kurt's original painting of her rescue pup Babka.

Babka was adopted in 2023, is the best boy, and his family just loves him to pieces. He’s a huuuuge snugglebug with his mom! ❤️

Here’s what else his mom has to say:
“Babka goes to doggy daycare with his 2 best friends and neighbor dogs, Brie and Odie. He can’t wait to go and is so excited, but the pics we get from doggy daycare always show him sitting at the top of the play slide, like a king surveying his domain. This may be why he still has so much energy when he gets home. Babka also loves to play with his cat siblings!! 🐱

Babka is a pro at jumping. All four legs go up with him at the same time. He can go from the floor to the table or counter or lap with no problem. He believes that because he is so good at this, that everyone appreciates him showing up at any moment. Hmmmmm. Not always Babka, that ‘down’ command still counts.” 🤣
