Yesterday, Olbrich Gardens had the installation of my brothers name on their Tribute Trellis. This beautiful tribute is a such a wonderful way to remember someone. It’s strange to be there because you’re in so much pain and the grief is so big you forget…others feel it too. There was a whole roomful of people there who were feeling what I was feeling. There was an older man who gave a touching speech about his wife of 60 years and a young couple who lost their small child.

Thank you, Sarah Hussin Coffey, for doing something for me and for my brother that is so meaningful.
AND, his name at the top of the trellis would have made him laugh! I can hear him….”where else would it be?”

This is Jasper. Jasper is little curious and loves to smell all the good smells under the grass and brush at the park! Often he comes up with a few “hitch hiker” seeds stuck in his fur. But that’s ok, we get extra cuddle and pets after the walk while we gently pluck them out of Jasper’s fur. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I have one of the most special friends any person could ever ask for. This is the most thoughtful gesture anyone has ever done for me. I can’t even really describe what this meant to me.
She just knew how broken my heart was when my brother died and found the most special way to remember him. I love her dearly for it. ♥️ Thank you, my friend.
