Lis comes home with two First placements and the Best All Around Groomer award from Atlanta’s Groom’d. 🌟🌟At her second competition, Carly takes home a 3rd place with her doodle in a class of 45 😮!! Also, an honorable mention in a packed Wire coat class. To top it off, she passed both practicals of her terrier master exam! We are so proud of her! 🌟🌟🤩

Firstly, we would like to thank all of our wonderful clientele for trusting us with the care of your beloved pets, we truly do care for them as though they are our own. As you know, our goal at Serenity Pet Spa is to provide professional grooming services of the highest quality to our clients, while ensuring that your pets trust and feel a bond with their groomers. In order to facilitate low stress, positive experiences and to maintain the health of your dog's skin and coat, we advise all clients to follow the groomer recommended appointment rotation for your dog's specific coat type, length, and style of trim.

As we move into the new year we will no longer schedule appointments past the maximum of 12 weeks between grooming appointments. Due to the high demand for our services, we are advising all clientele to book multiple appointments in advance. If your pet requires grooming every 3-4 weeks, it is recommended that you book no fewer than 4 appointments in advance to ensure that you will have an appointment when it is needed. This is in the best interest of the health, safety and overall well-being of your pets as it will help prevent matted and/or impacted coats. Matted and impacted coats can cause pain and irritation to the skin, while also potentially hiding a variety of health concerns. Additional charges will be assessed and applied if appointment schedules are not following the recommended guideline for the length, texture, style and at home maintenance of your dog's coat. These changes will also aid in ensuring continued quality and timeliness of our services.

Throughout each year we dedicate time to growing our knowledge base and skill set to ensure unparalleled service for our clientele. We currently have six Certified Master Groomers on staff, with Sommer Ferguson, Jordan Confer, and Shania Osterhoff having newly completed their Master Certification in 2021. Our apprentices on staff have made strides toward finishing their Master certifications as well. In addition to winning and placing in grooming competitions throughout the year at all competition levels among the staff, we are proud to be the salon owned by the current #1 groomer in the country and Groom Team USA member Lis Johnston.
In order to reflect the talent and skill of our staff and to further facilitate the continuing education of all of our staff, as of January 1, 2022 our prices are changing as follows:
Apprentice: $65 per hour
Master: $70 per hour
Elite: $80 per hour
Apprentice Hand strip: $70 per hour
Master Hand Strip: $75 per hour
Elite Hand Strip: $85 per hour
Master Show Groom: $80 per hour
Elite Show Groom: $90 per hour

In the upcoming year we are hosting continuing education events for our staff, attending educational seminars, dog shows and grooming competitions to ensure that we are able to provide knowledge based, compassionate grooming services at an unparalleled level of excellence within the grooming industry for our clientele. Great first day at the New England Grooming Show! Lis and Sommer headed to Massachusetts with a whole slew of fuzzy pups.
Day one:

Lis wins 1st in wire coat with Sean and 2nd in the scissor class with Thanos!

Sommer win first in wire coat with Fion and 1st in scissor class with Maddux! This puts her into open division!

Thank you to the owners who let us borrow their dogs for the weekend! Can’t wait for tomorrow!
