Cristin Kyle is a Master Certified Natural Horsemanship Trainer, certified by Ken McNabb Horsemanship, who believes in building trust, respect, and confidence in both horses and riders. Teaching how to build a better relationship is the foundation of her training methods. From the ground up through the saddle, she strongly believes this is the basis of safety with horses. Working with horses and p

eople from any discipline, she believes that your saddle choice should not change the core of your training nor should it affect your relationship with your horse. This is how she came to name her business Stable Relationships. Cristin believes in continuous learning, from professionals and students. Each horse has something to contribute as well, as they are our best teachers. She understands and respects that both you and your horse are individuals and should be treated as such. In her opinion there is no ‘cookie-cutter’ method for every individual or horses or ‘30 day miracles’. Cristin helps riders learn to better read their horses on the ground, from head to tail – there is a lot to be said in their expressions alone. This transfers to saddle work as well, and helps build a more responsive horse. She also teaches riders to feel their subtle movements as often as possible to create a better release point, horses learn from the release of pressure and riders should learn to give to a horse as quickly as possible. Breaking down the more complicated tasks for you and your horse to bring it back to a place where you both can be successful, are the building blocks for success. Cristin wants you to leave feeling better about yourself, your horse, and both of your abilities combined, whether it is through her training, a clinic or a riding lesson on one of her horses. Cristin is based in a beautiful horse region, Summerfield, North Carolina with easy access to the Triad and surrounding areas. She is very willing to travel further if that means helping you! We are feeling so many things, the first of which is utter shock, disappointment, disgrace in people and so much more. Who comes onto a property to blatantly cut a horse’s tail?!?

We will be offering a reward to whoever comes forward with any information - if you see jewelery or something similar made that could be with the tail in question please contact the page or Cristin!

As of now we are waiting to hear back from the neighbors to see what their camera caught in comparison to our own.

Congratulations to everyone who competed, what an amazing opportunity! I wish I had not had to scratch half of my classes, but I’m thankful Mr. Darcy told me he needed more time to heal and get sorted for in the future! I hope everyone enjoyed the journey and got great feedback, I know I did despite Mr. Darcy not being 100%!

Results are posted for the 2024 WDAA Online International Challenge! They are out for review and will be finalized by tomorrow. Congratulations to all that entered, this show is a truly unique opportunity and certainly a challenge!

We had a crazy roadtrip this past month to KY, unfortunately it was a mix of emotions for everyone. It was hot, humid and an interesting environment for sure. Mr. Darcy was scratched from the entire weekend as he was just not feeling well despite his all clear to go. And poor Micah man was just “off” and not behaving as normal, turns out the poor boy was dealing with quite the gas colic! Ava could not have done a better job with him! I’m thankful to have people who will put the horse first around me.

On the flip side the Sheets got some feedback from one of the judges for the Western Dressage World Show this year and had quite the show!

We also had some of the cutest helpers around for unpacking! The corgis are some of the best farm dogs! 🤗

Last week I had the pleasure of treating these two to MagnaWave treatments again and we discovered how much King enjoys standing on the mat for a good start! I love finding the levels and correct attachments to help each horse feel their best! Red enjoys the entire process and normally naps through roughly 50% of his treatment. They are both the cutest and sweetest!!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms! Anyone else have a super mom who helps you even on Mother’s Day and does heavy lifting and climbing? I’m blessed beyond measure for my mom, grandma, aunts and all the moms around me no matter what kind you are!
