Cristin Kyle is a Master Certified Natural Horsemanship Trainer, certified by Ken McNabb Horsemanship, who believes in building trust, respect, and confidence in both horses and riders. Teaching how to build a better relationship is the foundation of her training methods. From the ground up through the saddle, she strongly believes this is the basis of safety with horses. Working with horses and p

eople from any discipline, she believes that your saddle choice should not change the core of your training nor should it affect your relationship with your horse. This is how she came to name her business Stable Relationships. Cristin believes in continuous learning, from professionals and students. Each horse has something to contribute as well, as they are our best teachers. She understands and respects that both you and your horse are individuals and should be treated as such. In her opinion there is no ‘cookie-cutter’ method for every individual or horses or ‘30 day miracles’. Cristin helps riders learn to better read their horses on the ground, from head to tail – there is a lot to be said in their expressions alone. This transfers to saddle work as well, and helps build a more responsive horse. She also teaches riders to feel their subtle movements as often as possible to create a better release point, horses learn from the release of pressure and riders should learn to give to a horse as quickly as possible. Breaking down the more complicated tasks for you and your horse to bring it back to a place where you both can be successful, are the building blocks for success. Cristin wants you to leave feeling better about yourself, your horse, and both of your abilities combined, whether it is through her training, a clinic or a riding lesson on one of her horses. Cristin is based in a beautiful horse region, Summerfield, North Carolina with easy access to the Triad and surrounding areas. She is very willing to travel further if that means helping you! I'm going to make a more personal post than I normally do, but it is needed to share. Many of you have been lucky enough to meet my Grandma, Mary! Mary is currently in need of some prayer warriors and good thoughts. Most of you are unaware that when we returned from Western Dressage Worlds in 2023 she was hospitalized due to a blockage caused by stage 4 cancer, needless to say, things are acting up at the moment.

My Grandma is tied for my number one supporter (she and my mom share that position). She is also the heart and soul of the family in many ways. There are truly no words that can express what she means to me, let alone my family. So if you all would be so kind as to show some grace in my response times to texts, calls, messages, and emails at this time it would be appreciated.

I don't think any words will do Jay Lankford justice. He was a friend, a true mentor, one of the most mischievous and funny guys, so kind and giving with his time and all the things. The quote I used years ago that I captured of his hands nailing a horseshoe on one of my loves sums some of it up, but right now so many of us will mourn the loss of such an amazing person. Thank you One Fine Equine, LLC for helping get much needed horse hay to North Carolina after Helene’s destruction. The call was sent out for extra hands by Hope For Horses to make the work load lighter and this was a beautiful sight to see! We had roughly 800 Square bales unloaded in less than 2 hours and multiple smaller loads went directly to farms in need today!!! Thank you to Blue Ridge Rescue Barn for providing such a great and safe space to store this donation! I am adding Emily’s Venmo to the end of the video as she is actively working on more relief efforts!
