Did you know 40% of dogs and cats experience some level of pain due to Osteoarthritis (OA)?

OA is arthritis that develops when protective tissue in the joints deteriorates, leading to friction between the bones. Pain from OA can decrease your pet’s willingness to play or exercise.

Attending a wellness visit 1-2 times a year, along with routine bloodwork, helps our team to identify potential problems early and provide timely intervention.

This new machine is called a Cocoon and has been doing an amazing job at making our nurses lives 10x easier!! August is Itchy Pet Awareness Month, and we know that treating skin allergies is not one-size-fits-all. Treatment depends on the underlying cause, such as allergies, parasites, bacterial or fungal infections.

Pet of the month goes to one of our very own Covey🥰 Covey was brought into AHC after being found in the woods, and our kennel manager couldn’t resist taking her home. Covey now spends her days shredding toys and getting zoomies at the most awkward times. A fun fact about covey is that she LOVES belly scratches❤️❤️
