Wishing you all a pawsome new year's celebration!

Don't forget that tonight may be especially stressful for your fur babies with all of fireworks. Animal shelters commonly see an influx of pets who've run off on New Year's Eve to escape the terrifying sounds. Give your pet a safe space to hang out and be mindful of their current location when opening doors and window tonight.

The holidays are fast approaching and the next few weeks will present all sorts of opportunities for joy and stress for our furry friends. Over the next week, we will be sharing ways to keep your pets happy, healthy and safe this holiday season.

As temperatures drop in North Alabama, it's important to keep your pets in mind as colder winter months can pose special health risks to pets ranging from stiffer joints to hypothermia. Two simple ways you can help protect your pets are to wipe their feet off with a damp towel after any possible exposure to salt or other chemicals used to melt snow and ice, and remove any caked ice from their feet as soon as possible.

Give us a call today to learn about more ways to "winterize" your pets!
