It is with a heavy heart that we share some very difficult news. On the evening of December 24, 2024, two of our horses were shot at Reunion Horse Stables (515 Gluckstadt Road). Tragically, one horse succumbed to its injuries, while the other, though injured, was immediately taken to a local veterinary clinic. Thankfully, the injured horse is safe and expected to recover with proper care.

We want to assure you that all other horses at the barn are safe and well. The incident is believed to have occurred between 3:30 PM on December 24 and 7:30 AM on December 25. We are working closely with law enforcement to investigate this senseless act and to seek justice.

As we move forward, our commitment to the well-being of all the animals in our care remains steadfast. We understand this news may cause concern, but please know that our facility remains safe and secure. We are taking every measure to protect our horses and staff.

We ask for your continued support and trust. If you have any information or observed anything suspicious during this time, please contact the Madison Police Department at (601) 856-6111 and ask to speak with an investigator. Your assistance is invaluable as we work to understand and address what has happened.

🏆 Sophia French and Hot Wheels were champions in the Low Schooling Jumpers!

🌟 Robin Kritser and Legacy’s Forever More took a trip to the jumper ring and had several amazing trips!

🥈 PMH Elastic Lux and Presley Martin were Reserve Champions in the 1.15m and winners of the All Day Jumper Classic!

🥈 Taylor Chamblee and Heavenly SCF were Reserve Champions in the .85s.

🎖 Presley Martin took the ride on Pancake Express and had several blue ribbon rounds.
