What great memories of my first litter (Avisa's Ariel X Topaze de Lescaut) playing amongst the rocks at Hatcher Pass, Alaska. Ebony, Sweet Spot, and Sirius are the pups. Sirius stayed with me and is now more than 10! Tikko (blond husky) has passed, as has Tessa (German shepherd). Abby (Mom) is over 13 and still with me. Lovely views, and very bold happy pups.

With the heat and humidity recently, we've been doing a lot of swimming. Plus it helps dissuade the deerflies who are just swarming this year and love the dogs' black ears. Here's Sassy on her (12th?) retrieve.

Congratulations to Amy and Vin (Official Star de la Rouquine X Weres Deabei) who placed 7/18 with a score of 169.5 at Mondioring Nationals this Friday. Vin looked powerful and focused thanks to Amy's excellent training and handling. I'm excited to see what this team accomplishes in the future! Go Team Vin!

Pax loves his puppy IGP training. Calm, full grips. Possession through the roof- he'll carry without adjusting his grip for over 5 minutes after our puppy sessions. He puts his all into it. Really excited to build him up and get him shown.

I am so thankful to have the privilege to work with such an experienced helper who always puts the dog first. We've started puppy tracking, and he's already got nice foundations in the OB. Loves food, loves toys.

I'm also simply enjoying my fluffy boy's puppyhood, it goes by way too fast.

Moriah and her son, Pax. Bjorn leaves for great things in California soon and we'll miss him dearly, the house will seem so quiet. But that is part of breeding. I raise them, love them, give them the best start I can, and then I say goodbye and wish them all the best. It helps to hear updates, but the sending off part is still difficult.

Enjoying the two puppies left here, Bjorn and Pax. Today they got a run in the snow, then a visit to Tractor Supply to work on luring and engagement- they both did wonderfully. The other two boys are off to their mondio homes, these two are going for IGP. Pax is staying with me.

My dogs are also versatile. Asassy Eyes on Me du Chocorua won the skijor race this weekend! It was a two day race, yesterday she had some sn*******ng between the toes issues and it slowed her down some but not today! She also passed other dogs smoothly and without any issues, and narrowly avoided some dogs that surprised us on a corner in a head-on pass but still passed beautifully. I was so pleased with her and with the other dogs and their handlers there who were also neutral and well controlled. Great experience for her and for all.

Thank you Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club and Brownfield Snowmobile Club for hosting! Putting on an event like this is a whole lot of work, and I appreciate the opportunity to race.

The Unbreakable Boys are doing great. So active, vigorous and stupendous eaters! Moriah seems to enjoy having a smaller litter, she is very attentive.

Schutzhund is all about precision- and attitude. Getting both here and putting in the work. Perfect position and happy tail! Go Moriah, looking ready for fall trial season.

Protection phase IGP1 Moriah is an "excellent" in the guard and had fun in protection, but we need to work on our tracking repetitions and clarity before we trial in the fall. IGP1 is three phases- tracking, obedience, and protection. Onward and upward!

Vin (Atlas X Moriah) is a very versatile dog. He competes in disc, fast-cat, and mondio. His owner hopes to trial him this fall/winter for Mondio-1. On top of all his sports, he is a wonderful companion and loves going on hikes and trips around town. Exactly what I’d hoped for in this breeding. His owner has done very well by him, and I can’t wait to see how this team progresses in mondio. They have great potential!

Almost... almost have a prancey rhythm for our heeling- me and missus Sassy. I want it to be near-perfect so we're planning to trial in August for the BH. Moriah is looking good to get her IGP1 either at USCA Regionals in September or another club-level trial.

New Year's Skijor

Making good use of the snow while it lasts! Sassy learning to skijor and Moriah cheerleading.

Pemi is fast! She loves pacing me on the bike- I can barely keep up. She gets very excited when she sees the bike- it gives her a chance to really stretch her legs! Once the softer trails open up, we'll be bikejoring.

Abby has been showing a lot of interest in potential "den" sites as her due date nears. Here she is investigating a small cave. The other pack members are curious, too.
