On Tuesday, December 5, we heard a fascinating program by Randy Hare, owner of Alpha K9 Training Center. As a Professional Dog Trainer, Randy is living his lifelong dream of working with animals and people. Experience and talent in dog training has landed him spots on regional television, in various K-9 Magazine articles, and on national television.

Friends - I’ve been fortunate enough to be in this business for over forty years. Twenty of those years being in the state of Louisiana, the other twenty being in Jackson, Mississippi. Most of you close to me already knew of my desires to open a second facility. In the latter part of 2019, an opportunity presented itself for us to open a second facility in Nashville, Tennessee. We kept the news rather quiet as you never know in this business what may transpire. At one point, it looked like the deal would fall through, and it was pretty much saved by a Real Estate Broker, Mr. Paul Myers with the Charles Hawkins Company, who went the extra mile for us to successfully begin taking steps forward. But here we are on January 3rd of 2020…Business at Alpha K-9 in Jackson, Mississippi, is still doing well and will continue to be in business in Jackson, Mississippi. We will embark on this new adventure of holding two facilities, our goal is to build a reputation in Nashville that will equal to what we have built and continue to have in Jackson, Mississippi. To be honest with you, it is pretty scary. But at some point, you realize that the probability of realizing your dreams are shoved into a smaller space. And even though fear is a great part of this, as I have told some of you, I would rather live with myself for failing, than to live with myself for having never tried… I want to thank my employees and especially my beautiful fiancée, Lauren Rhodes, who worked tirelessly to ensure that this dream materializes. I would also like to thank Mark Boggs and Jason Hanley, who were instrumental in assisting in the setup of Alpha K-9 Nashville. If I have offended anybody by not saying anything to them, please realize, it is just part of business, and accept my humble apologies.
