My name is Shannon De La Cruz. I'm a graduate of Nash Academy of Animal Arts in Lexington, Ky. I am certified in Dog Bathing, Styling and Grooming. I'm also certified in Dog First Aid and CPR. I turned my passion and

love for dogs into a career. You can rest assure that your pets will be in good hands. I will love and care for them like they are my own. What I need from you is a bathing area. (bathtub or sink) I will also need a area where I can place a sm/md portable grooming table. The area will need a electrical outlet where I can plug clippers and dryer. Don't worry about a mess. I clean as I go and will have a small vac to clean up hair. **Prices vary by weight/coat/behavior of your pet & location that I drive from place of business East Ocean View, Va to your home.**
I have the right to refuse a groom if the dog is aggressive.. snapping biting at me or my equipment. (Shears, clippers or blades) I have the right to refuse a groom if the dog is *pelted* I will recommend veterinarian care. I will do the best that I can with your dog to make him feel better. If I can’t continue a groom because of aggression or the dog is neglected to the point that I’m unable to continue. You will be responsible for the groom and time that has been put into your dog. I love all dogs and will always do my best with your babies!

I wanted to ask everyone to please be patient with me when calling about dog grooming. I am working a full time job on the weekends. Friday thru Sunday 12 hour shifts and dog grooming during the weekdays. I return phone calls on Thursdays and sometimes on Mondays. I know how frustrating it can be when you want your pets groomed and having to wait can be a little overwhelming. I’m sorry about the inconvenience and hope that you understand.

I wanted to let everyone know that I’ll be dog grooming again. I will be doing House Call in Hopkins County, Ky. I’ll only be able to groom small to medium size dogs. Your pets must be 60lbs and under due to safety concerns.

I also want to apologize to my past clients. I know it’s been a bumpy ride. I’ve had a lot of personal problems which caused the sudden move and me being unbalanced. Just know I am here to stay. I’m in a better position to take care of your pets.
