This is quite possibly the best horse we have ever offered to the public. Covered from head to toe in dapples with a snow white mane hanging below his shoulder, this gorgeous palomino gelding is truly what dreams are made of. “Alfie” is a 2020 model registered AQHA gelding that stands 14.2 hands tall. He is an own son of the great “Chic Dreamin” who stands at Silver Spurs Equine and has earned $264,000 in his career in the reining. His Dam, Footworks Yellow Jac is also no stranger to the show pen, or the breeding barn!

Prior to coming into our program, “Alfie” was trained as a finished reiner. He will easily suit a Non Pro or Rookie level rider! He can also be very competitive with the popular AQHA ranch riding! He has a monster size stop, correct turn arounds, lopes gorgeous circles, and swaps leads with ease. He is ready for the show pen and should have no trouble following in the footsteps of his sire.

Since we have had Alfie, we have done all of the things that a typical show horse might not get to experience. We've spent lots of time riding outside of the arena on the trail as well as heading out to the pasture to work cattle.

Although young, this horse has an impeccable mind that is not easily startled or shaken. If he sees something new he just takes his time to look at it without having any sort of big reaction. His quiet way of being is what has made him a favorite around here. On the trail he has no problem crossing logs, ditches, water, etc. “Alfie” is the type of horse who just wants to be your friend and make anything you are doing enjoyable. He has the sweetest personality and loves to be groomed or receive any type of attention.

Sold a pair of great geldings to a return customer, and friend in Indiana last week. Despite only owning them a few days, he trusted us when we told him that they were exactly what he was looking for, and bought them sight unseen. Moral of the story, someone doesn’t have to raise them, or own them a long period of time for them to be good, honest horses.
