April is Heartworm Awareness Month! ❤️
Heartworms are transmitted from an infected animal to your healthy dog through mosquitos. When an infected mosquito bites your dog, it can also pass on infected larvae. Over 6 to 7 months, these infected larvae turn into adult heartworms, causing severe health issues, and potentially death.
