Helping our Firefighters!

Madison County needs your help in helping our firefighters who are overwhelmed with the current number of fires due to current weather conditions.

Please know that we are under a burn ban. Please do not burn or weld outdoors.

Landowners with pastures may consider disking fire lanes around their property lines, where possible, to prevent or slow the spread. Make sure your equipment is in good condition and keep a fire extinguisher with you in case your equipment emits a spark.
When fire departments are responding, please avoid the area and anywhere smoke may be gathering.

Do not launch any drones in the area, so as not to interfere or cause grounding of air assets that may be active.

Our volunteer firefighters have done an outstanding job keeping us safe, but let's please do our part. Be safe out there!
