We have some very sad news to share. We have 2 older pups needing to be rehomed due to life events preventing their current owner from being able to keep them. We understand that life happens and only want the best for them.
The one absolute requirement is that they remain together. They have grown up together and both their current owner and us believe it would be cruel to separate them.
This was shared from their current owner.
I’m making the heartbreaking decision to rehome my male Boxer babies, since my home situation has drastically changed this last year. It is absolutely no fault of theirs, as they are very sweet boys.
The older one is all white from Sargent’s Boxers litter “L” and was dubbed “Lucian” at birth but has been renamed Mackay (Muh-Ki = Scottish = Son of Fire). He will be 4 years old on February 22, 2025. He is the more hyper playful one and loves to play fetch, keep away, & tug. He is very loving and needs lots of attention. He is very curious and will follow you around constantly and needs to see up close whatever you’re doing. He has some arthritis and may need surgery on his left knee in the future, but currently doing well with supplements. He is taking a daily supplement and is still pain free but his knee pops often and he will favor it but will still full-on run like the wind. Otherwise, he is very healthy and weighs about 80 pounds.
The younger one is a fawn from Sargent’s Boxers litter “M” and was dubbed “Major” at birth. He has been renamed Tushka (Toosh-ka = Chickasaw = Warrior). He will be 4 years old on March 30, 2025. He is more reserved than Mackay but loves to hug and snuggle and give kisses. He will play but fetch is not his game…tug and wrestling are his preferences. He is very healthy and weighs about 80 pounds.
All they’ve ever known is each other, my home, and a large backyard that they have guarded very well. They’re spoiled and love to lie on the sofa. They’ve been on the same Purina Pro Plan food since they were weaned. I do add a raw egg to their ½ scoop breakfast and a little low sodium broth to their full scoop dinner. They love treats like the human grade jerky treats, popcorn, cheese, and just about any kind of meat. They love to run and wrestle with each other. They both take showers very well and are very cooperative. They are both microchipped and neutered.
It is very important to me that they stay together and that they go to a family. It’s only been me this last year and they’re not getting all the love and attention they deserve. They love children and other dogs but may have issues with cats (unknown). They are used to a dog door and have had the freedom to go in and out. They are not crate trained. They will be coming with toys, bowls, a doghouse & bed, and misc. stuff.
I’m happy to answer any other questions or to accommodate visits.
