🌟 A Huge Thank You! 🌟

We want to give a big shoutout to the MNHHS Cross Country Team and Coach Evans for volunteering at the shelter today! 🐾 Coach Evans, along with 9 incredible team members, managed to walk all of our adult dogs in just two hours—absolutely amazing! 🐕✨

The dogs were thrilled to enjoy some fresh air and stretch their legs on this beautiful day. ❤️

If you have a group that would love to make a difference and spend a couple of hours with our shelter animals, we’d love to hear from you! Please reach out if you have a group that would like to get involved.

Meet DOC!
Doc is a 5-month-old mix who was owner-surrendered at the beginning of November. This sweet little guy currently weighs around 20 lbs and is learning to walk on a leash.

Doc is great with children and other dogs. When introduced to cats in the cat room, he was not interested, but his previous owner stated he went after their cat, we would recommend a home without a cat. He’s a friendly, adaptable pup who’s ready to find his forever home.

His adoption fee is just $50, which covers his neuter, microchip, and vaccinations.

Meet Ginger!

This beautiful girl came to the shelter as a stray at the beginning of December. Ginger is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs 39 lbs.

With her stunning coloring and sweet personality, Ginger is sure to steal your heart! She needs a little leash training but will settle in wonderfully with love and patience.

Meet Midnight!

Midnight is a 2-year-old Shepherd mix who was picked up as a stray at the beginning of December. This stunning boy weighs around 90 lbs and is as handsome as they come!

Midnight is very scared in the shelter environment but shows his gentle side when walking on a leash with one of our kennel techs. With a little patience and love, he’s sure to thrive in a forever home.

Ranger is a 3-year-old Shepherd mix who is ready to find the right home for his unique needs. This 66 lb. big guy was owner-surrendered and is bringing along a little baggage, but with the right environment, he has the potential to thrive!

- Adult-only home: He’ll do best in a household with no children.
- Solo pet status: Ranger needs to be the only pet in the home due to resource guarding with food.
- Heartworm positive: Ranger’s new family will need to consult their veterinarian to determine the best treatment plan for his condition.
