Happy Friday, all! Today I’m excited to share with you a little about a special pup over at and his sweet family for a little feature. Meeting Jenna, we knew this pup had a pretty sweet life ahead of him. And it’s been fun to witness him from states away how he fits in so well there.

“Is Orvie giving us the best life possible or are we giving him the best life? Truly, I think he is giving us the best life.

Orvie or “Big Creek’s Yellowstone Explorer”, has been the perfect blend of s***k, smarts, play & enthusiasm for our family. At times he drives us nuts with his puppy antics, but we secretly love it.

We’ve celebrated him finding antler sheds on our property & choked-down disgust when he brings dead animals home. Needless to say, every day with Orvie is an adventure!

My father recently passed & I’ve immensely appreciated all of the joy & smiles he’s gifted me. On the days when grief is especially hard, he gets me out of bed & outside into nature.

Since he joined our family, we’ve explored 6 states & 1 National Park. He’s traveled, snowshoed, climbed mountains, & white water rafted canyons! He’s done all of this with bravery & grace.

As he matures I am excited to continue trick training with him, show him as many states as possible, & find a sport that he thrives in.

Thank you Big Creek Vizslas for giving us our best friend. We are so in love with him & the best life that he’s given us. 🧡”

We made the official switch to Inukshuk last year after having tried it prior, and have loved the quality! We had enough interest to supply it, so if you stop in and would like to try a bag-they are for sale 👍🏻 (Sorry, Blaze is not 🐶☺️)

Celebrating a safe and beautiful arrival of these pups. Seven females, two males-and females led with five straight in a row! So thankful to be on this side, and excited for the next months with these ones. Names are brewing thanks to our five year old ☺️

Ghost x Sami pups are 6 weeks this week. Little fiery personalities are here, and the interaction with the litter is so fun to experience. They are even starting to catch on to where we need to make their mess ☺️ We’re excited to see what these next couple weeks will bring for these babies!
