Does cleaning your floor make your air dirty? A recent study says yes.😱

Mopping your floor with industrial-grade limonene-containing cleaners🪣 (keep reading for our pet-safe DIY cleaner recipe) for just a few minutes can create as much air pollution as traffic 🚙 on a busy city street, according to researchers. The aerosols generated by mopping with commercial-grade lemon🍋- or pine🌲-scented chemicals can be inhaled deep into the lungs 🫁 (by both humans and animals) causing irritation and leading to health issues 😷 like allergies, and more.

So can you have a clean floor AND clean air? Also yes! 🥳 Researchers found that use of an air purifier during mopping can significantly reduce the concentration 📉 of harmful aerosols.

1 gallon water
2 cups white vinegar
1-2 cups rubbing alcohol

🪣 Combine in a bucket to mop. Can be added to a spray bottle for spot cleaning. No need to rinse.

This is a great reminder! Have schedules just like you would with your human babies!!

There are so many new experiences and things to think about when you bring home your puppy that you may forget one of the most important parts of puppy homecoming: establishing a routine. Structure will help your new family member feel secure and know what’s expected of him.

Stella’s 9 reindeer!! This is their birth order and the fact that number 9 just came out looking different and like he owned the place, we just had to name them after Santa’s reindeer!! Rudolph may not have a red nose but his color was red and we couldn’t help but call them reindeer bc they are going home at Christmas!!! We are so excited about this litter and can’t wait to show you more about how adorable this crew is!!! We love them all evenly just fyi!😂😉. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🎄🎅🏻🤶 ***n

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

They’re here!!! 9 absolutely precious little angels! Momma Stella is a rock star and loves her babies so much!! We are beyond thrilled with these babies and their coats of many colors are everything! Keep watching for the litter names coming soon!!😍. We are very blessed to have 5 precious girls and 4 handsome boys. All puppies are reserved in this litter.

Would you be comfortable in a fur coat in this heat? Me either.

A few tips to help keep your dogs and puppies comfortable in this heat:

✅ stay indoors in air conditioning as much as possible.
✅ when outside, make each outing short and shady. Less than 10 minutes.
✅always have water available for drinking
✅have cool water available to step in. Keeping the paw pads cool will help your dog regulate the heat.
