Diamanté Noire FEqt showing her stuff (finally!) tonight!
Noé’s first day of trailer practice and she practically got straight on! This is the nicest filly and I’m (not so) secretly pleased she hasn’t sold. This filly is top quality and handled above and beyond most her age. She will come with so much life experience at an early age. ❤️❤️❤️ @ Flint Equestrian
Expected a bit more wild of a baby the other day after two days in the barn during tropical storm Beta, but she was still pretty chill! 😍😍 Remarkably, she’s still available!
We had a great (hot) day at Pine Hill!
Audrey & Strider finished 2nd in Beginner Novice
Julia & Venus finishes 2nd in Novice
Well done, ladies!!
Tough life for a new baby!
Thank you to MeadowCreek Park for hosting us today for a fabulous XC school (that I sadly got NO photos or videos of!) The rain held off just long enough and each of our riders rode well and showed improvements. Can’t wait to do it again!
E-mail sent out with ride times and details for XC schooling at MeadowCreek on Sunday!
I am still on cloud 9! Eventing is a tough sport. It feels like so many weekends we struggle to put three solid phases together and the ones where all the pieces fit are few and far between. But, this weekend, all FOUR of my riders put in fabulous rides in all phases with most everyone moving up a level! Congrats are in order!
Marcella & Joule - 3rd in Training
Julia & Venus - 2nd in their FIRST Novice
Cathy & Pierre - 2nd in their FIRST Beginner Novice combined test
Audrey & Strider - Completed their FIRST Beginner Novice horse trials (HC after schooling XC on Saturday)
Audrey on her way to completing her first Beginner Novice horse trial on Stride Right! 🎉
Julia and Venus putting in a fabulous show jumping round in their first Novice!
Assistant trainer Hailey is all smiles following show jumping with outstanding dressage and show jumping rounds from Marcella, Julia, Catherine, and Audrey!
Nick felt a bit game for his first cross country schooling in nearly three years with a couple attempts to run off! Katie Resnick gave him a great ride and helped him settle. ❤️
Hannah and Parsnip finally out on the cross country course, doing absolutely stellar for Parsnip’s second trip off property and first real XC schooling with Hannah.

#flintequestrian via ripl.com Holly’s June Barn Must-Have Starting off a new monthly series with a product I just purchased. It’s summer and staying hydrated for hours on end in the barn is tough. Ross and I started going through almost two cases of water each week when we bought our new place. Talk about a guilt trip on pollution! These gorgeous bottles are the perfect solution. Ice cubes fit easily in the mouth, they come in various sizes to allow me to take 2 regular sized bottles of water in one bottle (in the big one), and the double insulated design helps keep water cold (it certainly doesn’t stay cold as long as a Yeti cup will keep it but for how long it takes me to drink a bottle, I have no complaints!). Lessons should be fun and challenging. Just because an exercise is far more advanced than a young rider would encounter in competition does not mean it is not a suitable exercise for rider development. Watch Lauren, Lulu, and Julia through some new jumping exercises yesterday. Cavalletti were used to keep the jumps small and the focus on riding the appropriate line.
