The Hicksville Police Department would like to thank the residents at Southern Hills that assisted with the capture of 9 dogs. After an hour of chasing, K9 Echo was also deployed to help round them up. 20 minutes later all 9 K9s were captured and transported to Hicksville PD. The dogs were then transported to Defiance Kennels. K9 Echo has a bright future in dog herding!

Many dog breeds, especially Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, can suffer from this painful neurological disorder, too.

CKCS have been selectively bred for a small, rounded skull, which doesn’t leave enough room for the brain—especially the cerebellum. This can cause crowding at the back of the skull, leading to Chiari-like malformation and secondary fluid-filled cavities (syrinxes) in the spinal cord (syringomyelia).
