I could cry 🥹!
It has been a really rough year for the rattery so far. Two singleton litters in a row + the loss of a dwarf breeding prospect made me really struggle to keep up hope. Not only are these babies deeply wanted but they are also here to help improve our Harly Coats by adding in Rex genes to improve skin and coat texture so they are an important step in our rattery improvement goals. They also make our beloved Tati a grandma, a job she already has taken on for Bean and Aurora.
I’m just delighted to have them here with us and to watch them grow.

We have newborns in the house again and they are gorgeous! More vids later but everyone is fat and happy and mom is taking to motherhood well! Tati is officially a grandma and Ferris is being well loved by her sister while they wait for Patinas litter
Good and bad news. Bad news Ann and Lace didn’t seem to take and are not pregnant. Good news is Patina and Feriss are Very pregnant due any day now! We also think that Lena and Hope are as well but dwarves can be very good at adding the pounds whenever.

Mini had her babies 8 huge Tubbies, Beans size. She has milk to spare and hopefully can handle Bean as well.
Bean is getting bigger but we want her to eat more so we’re gonna see if we can get her to eat more.

Bean is a week old tommorow! Ann and I are both glad to have moved on to feedings every 6h.

Hand feeding bean is a struggle, with feeding every 3 hours an trying to keep her tummy full without bloating we are on the struggle bus 😅
Meet our temp resident Mini
Mini is from Jaberwalky Reptiles and is here to hopefully help me raise our Singleton Bean. Tho Bean is currently being bottle fed… every 3 hours… it will be helpful to have a mom who can feed her. Ann currently is grooming and helping her go potty, I am running on very little sleep 😅. I could use Minis help!
