“THE REAL STORY is those dogs never stood a chance. They are part of a systemic failure and will pay the price of human ignorance, greed, stupidity and apathy with their lives as will/do countless others in America every year unless things change.
Their story won't be told. What they were used for and all they endured will never be heard. All anyone hears and remembers is "Pit Bulls mauled a man." And no one whose job it is to protect them and prevent tragedies like this will be mentioned or held accountable and this will happen again.”
The repugnant anti "pit bull" morons and those not educated will run with this headline. Below is the real story.
LAAS sells breeders lisences, know dogs are continually being force bred and puppies are being sold recklessly and carelessly on Los Angeles streets.
Los Angeles city and county "leaders" do not ensure spay & neuter and breeding laws are strongly and regularly enforced.
When members of the public call LAAS reporting dogs who are being abused, bred, sold, neglected in plain sight, they are told they cannot remove them or never show up.
When member of the public call LAAS and ask that wellness checks to be done on dogs they witness suffering, it takes months if ever for LAAS to do so in certain in er city areas which has been confirmed by frustrated law enforcement.
Dogs continue to be unabashedly mislabled by the media, shelters and society. Dogs with butchered ears (which is cruelty) short hair and muscular bodies are called "pit bulls" which is a term based solely on appearance. Mislabeling of these dogs has and continues to cost them their lives.
The "type" of dog is involved in this or any "incident" is irrelevant. The only relevance is all could have been prevented had laws and rules already in place been enforced.
THE REAL STORY is those dogs never stood a chance. They are part of a systemic failure and will pay the price of human ignorance, greed, stupidity and apathy with their lives as will/do countless others in America every year unless things change.

In Los Angeles it appears rules, laws and consequences regarding the treatment of animals depend on tax bracket and geographic location.
Today please post an amazing story about a pit bull "type" dog. Millions of dogs being wrongly vilified because of this story did nothing but love unconditionally yesterday but that will never make front page news.
