Sunny is a very loving boy who is around 2 years old. He is a beautiful Brindle Dutch Shepherd, and weighs about 60 lbs. He is loyal and loves his people. He loves playing and will do anything for behind the ear scratches. He is well trained, and is comfortable with his crate and not happy potty accidents.

With dogs, he has a slightly Alpha male personality. He gets along with female dogs, but some male dogs make him sensitive.

Sunny would do best in an active home. We suggest a home without kids or non-dog animals as he has a bit of a prey drive.

MARLEY NEEDS HELP!

We have rescued Marley from the SEAACA shelter. Marley is a senior lady (we think about 12), who is very sweet and loving. She is looking for a forever home or sponsorship for her care.

Ever so sweet, Marley likes to meander around the yard. She is very calm and easy going. She loves finding the perfect place to lay and watch the world go by. She gets along with all dogs, although can no longer keep up with the young and hyper ones as she gets older.

We have loved caring for Marley in her latter half of life, but we do not have enough funds to give her the best possible care. We are looking for sponsors or families who think they can take in Marley, or sponsors to help fund her care. If interested, please email [email protected]

Our rescue dog, Tony, is ready for adoption!

Meet Tony! This young, energetic, white shepherd is on the lookout for his forever home. Tony is a playful and active companion, perfect for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or long walks. He thrives in an environment with, activity and adventure.

Tony is an excellent hiking buddy; just take a look at the pictures! He'll stick by your side through any outdoor adventure, or and even join you for a swim. His other favorite pastime is playing with his rope toy and engaging in games with other dogs. However, Tony might not be the best match for an alpha male dog.

Despite his rough start in life, Tony has made great progress in learning to trust people again. He's had extensive obedience training and is a smart cookie when it comes to following commands. Tony is a good listener and loves to be praised as a "good boy." Plus, he is crate trained and ready to be a part of a loving household.

If you're an active person or family looking for a loyal and playful companion, Tony could be the perfect fit for you. He's ready to shower his forever family with love and be the best furry friend you've ever had.

Mora Miel ‘Blueberry honey’ aka Boogie Boogz.

At not even 7 years old, I expected many more years together.

You were absolutely the sweetest most loving little dog angel imaginable. From the first moment we never left each others side. Work, play, sleep, flights, even pool floats. Wherever I was, you were. We were mutually infatuated. I was obsessed with you. From my last thought at night to my first in the morning. My baby.

Struggling with mysterious health issues since December 2022… finally diagnosed with two tick born infections in March 2024… and IMHA disease as a result. We have lived in the vets and hospital since then. I LOVE you more than any other living being on this planet, and I would have done that twice or three times over. I thought you were at the end of your recovery, and soon to be given a clean bill of health. Yesterday, a very sudden decline - you were snatched away, and died in my arms. Your last action was to look up into my eyes. I know you know.
I am completely utterly destroyed. I don’t know how to exist. You made everything bearable.

Once you lived on the streets of Rosarito, under cars eating trash. I know I gave you a better life filled with love. But it was you who saved me. With your kindness, sweetness, love. You eminated love to every dog, every person. Just a joy to co exist with.
I wish you had been diagnosed earlier. That these infections hadn’t wreaked such havoc on your tiny body. I fought so hard for you.
I just can not believe the injustice of this.

Pi and I are lost without you. I hope you are stealing treats, destroying toys, and snuggling on couches over the rainbow bridge. 🌈

Sad reality we have to think about it. As large animal owners, and carers too…. We have trailers, trucks ready to go if we have to. Staff attending 24/7 in addition to all the regular stuff, fire extinguishers etc.

Helpful info to store or remember! We take care to take it very easy with the pups in the heat! Of course they still need to potty, and stretch legs but overheating is no good.
