Thanks to everyone who has been reaching out. We’re hanging in there, though the next two days of fierce winds will be tough. Most of the turtles are hibernating, which is a blessing - they’re tucked away, safe from the noise and chaos.

It’s been like living with the devil blowing on you, but we’re staying strong and hopeful for calmer days ahead. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Your support means the world to us and the turtles.

We are safe in Malibu, thanks to everyone who has reached out with concern. The fire is still burning so we are watching closely as there are a lot of terrible winds. It is about 20 minutes down the main road from the rescue. (Photo from last night)
