Who We Are

Dreams often start at a young age. I remember being infatuated with animals since my very first memory allows....always a dog in my life teaching me so many lessons along the way even if it was unrecognizable to me at the time. Over the many lesson filled years the most important lesson given was that dogs are a vital part of my life and my love for teaching and helping people make the career of a canine behavior trainer the most obvious and passionate decision of my life.

Through studies, apprenticeships, courses, testings, continued education, volunteering, and working with various pet industries among the years, I have built (and continue building) and proven the experience needed to help you with many struggles you may be facing with your dog.

Great Falls Canine Academy is a unique owner operated small business that focuses on getting you and your dog past the struggles, teaching you new skills, and giving you the ability to problem solve as you go. It is not just about the time you spend with us during your training but about what you learn and can apply to any situation you may face in the future.

What makes us unique? We have a lot of pride in achieving results with your pets emotions and wellbeing as our #1 priority. We are Fear Free certified which means that we study and apply the least invasive methods, least stressful methods, keep your dogs comfort and consent a priority and we never resort to positive punishment as a way to train. Fear and Intimidation is never needed and never used in our training lessons. Our programs focus on optimism, teaching behaviors, managing environments, and taking the time to set up successful training sessions so that errors and corrections aren’t necessary.
