Ok guys this picture is cute and funny!!
But what we are going through at the rescue IS NOT!!!!

OUR PHONES HAVE NOT STOPPED RINGING TODAY WITH ANIMALS NEEDING HELP

Once again I just tried to write a whole story about WHY we are absolutely Frustrated
…..but we are too mad at this moment…..
Plus there is no way we can put in words what we are going through here….

“”WHY the heck are people dumping and abandoning animals like they are trash?!!?

YES we are well aware of the need for S/N Laws……
But that still doesnt explain how you can just DUMP- ABANDON -
the animals…
YES its explains WHY we have So Many… but it doesn’t explain how you can just MOVE and leave them or drive to an area and Put Them Out Of Your Vehicle and Drive Away……

In 2 days we’ve had 3 calls about SENIOR DOGS….thats 5 seniors…them poor babies are about too or already have lost the only people some of them have ever know….

We have over 50 Puppies in our care ……Yes we know we can find amazing homes…matter fact we 100% believe they will have families waiting for them before we can even get them ready to go……
THAT’S the problem …..
Taking care of them and getting them vetted to Join their new family….
It’s EXPENSIVE….Yes we do things to cut down on the cost of care and vetting…but some things like S/N ,Dewormer and Preventatives are just expensive….
but it has to be done before they go to their families ….

We couldn’t help as many as we are able to help without our Fosters and donation angels ….and we Truly Appreciate each and everyone of you guys!!!

I know this sounds Awful!!!!
BUT………
WE need more help…..we need new angels to step up to help us…..
We say all the time
WE ARE ONLY AS STRONG AS THE COMMUNITY THAT SUPPORTS US!!
We are very blessed and thankful to have the Cuddle Babies Community we have…..
But the need keeps growing daily..we need more angles to jump in our community ………..

We are willing to put in the work 7 days a week….
but we cant do it all and our already donation angels cant just help us…
every rescue is struggling and most of our donation angels help alot of rescues….

You have no idea the littlest thing that could help a rescue….

RESCUES ARE NOT OK….
if you dont believe us just check in on any rescue….give them a call or text just to ask if they are ok and if they need anything …….
You might get lucky and they will have a second to answer you back…

We are drowning here!!

Yes we will find them all amazing home …….but it comes with a cost😥😥and unfortunately it cost a lot 😭😭

Just a lil update on Willow….

She is doing great! She goes back to the vet on the 17th to get her stitches out🤗🤗
Remember she was the feral dog that someone had been feeding for 2yrs but could never get close enough to catch her …
then one morning she noticed Willow had a coyote trap snapped on her leg 😢😢
11 days later she had weakened and was able to be caught with a team effort 🤗…
then rushed straight to the vet and ended up having to have her leg amputated ….

She is now learning Human Hands Can Be Soft and Gentle 🥰

The puppies in the background noise are a little jealous Willow is getting all the attention ❤️🐾🐾

We are stressed and overwhelmed to the max today at the rescue…..

But sometimes you just have to stop for a second and Celebrate 🙌
This lil girl came to us with her litter mates after their mom had been hit by a car😢They were very young and struggling and we did loose 3 of them last week..we were absolutely heartbroken but this little girl was still hanging on with her other litter mates…then she decided to completely stop eating on us….we spent a couple nights giving her fluids and force syringe feeding her..with little improvement we continued doing all we could do for her …..
Now she has decided she likes Food …..
but the only way she will eat on her own is ON TOP OF MY DESK WITH HER FOOD SPREAD OUT…

That’s ok Little girl….As long as you will eat we will make time for you to have your food anywhere and anyway you want it…..
We will also stop to make a FB post to ask everyone to send some special prayers that you and your litter mates continue to thrive for us……..

Rescue is Hard Everyday….but when you have babies that need special attention…sometimes you have to push everything to the side of your desk and let that baby enjoy her lunch….mess and all is so worth it to See Her Eating 🥰

Its 9:20pm and we are still at the rescue waiting on a 10:45pm transport……

So let’s talk a little about our lastest intakes …,

1–10wk old baby
2——-Pregnant Females

2—PREGNANT FEMALES

A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR FOSTERS!!!!!

Unfortunately we ran out of fosters so thats all we could take responsibility for from our never-ending list…….

We are running super low on Puppy food and down to our last bag of P*e Pads….yes we have washable p*e pads but alot of our fosters prefer the disposable and we completely understand and want to make it as easy on them as possible ….

We desperately need Vet Funds for these Cuddle Babies….

Without counting the pregnant mommas and their babies it will cost $3000-$3500 (depending where we can get them scheduled) just for S/N for these babies ….not to mention the cost of 2-4 shots each…multiply rounds of Dewormer,coccidia and giardia meds…plus preventatives..

We just got a call about these puppies that appear to have been Dumped 😢😢on Hwy 229 out of Leola towards Carthage….

We have taken responsibility for 19 puppies this week so all of our fosters are full…

Please let us know if anyone can help these babies by fostering…
