Delchester Equine is located in the heart of Chester County hunt country. We provide on site boarding, and lessons to clients both on and off site.

Delchester Farm is a first rate equestrian facility for the care and training of foxhunting and eventing horses, and their riders. Managed by long time British horsewoman Jeana Hollands, the stable maintains the attention to detail and exceptional quality you would expect to see in a British Hunt Stable. This traditional feel is balanced with expert care, modern technology and practicality. Built

in the 1800’s as a traditional Pennsylvania Bank Barn, it has maintained the tradition and quality of its era. Since its original construction, the stable has seen many changes and advances in technology, but has never lost its charm and warmth for both the people and horses within. Located in Willistown township, adjacent to the 180 acre Okehocking preserve, the stable is within easy hacking distance of Radnor Hunt, North America’s oldest continuous recognized Fox Hunt. Delchester Equestrian has direct access to a vast network of some of the region’s most bucolic trails that traverse Radnor Hunts home country, and is just a short drive to neighboring hunts including Andrews Bridge, Cheshire, Kimberton, and River Hills. During the off season the opportunities to compete are plentiful, including the Devon Horse Show, Plantation Field and Fair Hill International. Jeana Hollands, originally from Hampshire, England, is recognized as an Instructor by the British Horse Society has made her career working with horses. She brings experience from many different equine fields into the fitness and management of the horses under her care. Her attention to detail and training programs ensure horses are always well prepared and able to give their riders a great days hunting. Jeana is dedicated to ensuring her clients are safe and competent in both the hunt field and the competitive circuit. Jeana coaches and encourages riders to further develop and test their skills at some of the many local and recognized competitions during the off season.

Last weekend we had a lovely day at Ludwigs
Corner horse show. Congratulations to Nora and Snowman, winning the stakes class and getting division champion! 🏆 What a perfect way to celebrate Labor Day!

Delayed post after much celebration! Jane and Gilligan competed at the Amateur Only Dressage Show, held at the Prestigious Devon Horse show grounds. Not only did Jane win a class, they also got division champion! 🏆 and got to ride the famous victory lap in the Dixon Oval.

We had a great time this weekend, helping out at the Radnor Hunt Pony Club Tropical Combined Test, followed by a trip to Full Moon Farm where Janine and Lucky came 4th in a competitive Novice division!

What an exciting week last week, two dressage shows and a horse trials. We all did well, Jane and Gilligan winning both their classes, Archie and I coming second and fourth, and Janine with Lucky finishing fourth in a strong division with their best dressage score to date and all
Clear rounds!

A little late in posting, last weekend was fun for Maya and Ducky, getting out at their first jumper show at Radnor Hunt, then Janine and Lucky crushed it at Plantation, leading throughout to come in first place! Well done ladies!

What a super day at New Jersey Horse Park! Congratulations to Janine and Lucky, coming in first at their first show together; and to Maya and Ducky coming 5th in a big divison at Their first event- he’s an eventer now!!

We had a lovely time at Kimberton show! Maya and Ducky did their first hack class and performed most excellently, Nora and Snowman stormed around the Derby for a top ten placing, and Seagull and I landed in the ribbons in the Foxhunters class! Thanks to all the helpers and cheer squad!

A lovely time at Dunmovin show today!
Maya and Ducky did a good first ever dressage, Erin and Gilly showing improvements in a move up test, and Jane and Bentley mastering two complicated tests at first level! Also Seagull had his first crack at dressage And came in with a blue!

What fun we had at Radnor Hunt Pony Club Spooktacular show! Maya and Ducky had a great time jumping around, good to see a calm and focused horse, and Nora with Snowman and myself and Gilligan had a great time jumping the Derby class! of course there were also costumes! Photos in comments as apparently you cant put both on a post!

A huge congratulations and well done to Jane and Bentley, fulfilling the dream of riding at the prestigious Devon showgrounds. They put in strong tests to finish in 5th amongst competitive company in a buzzing environment! We are so proud of you!

What a great day At Bucks County! Janine and Pumba rocked it round the Novice after a Heavy downpour, and just a few time penalties keeping her out of the top three! Nora and Snowman put in their best dressage yet, and very purposeful double clears in the jumping, to WIN her beginner novice class! And Erin and Gilligan completed their first show, with no errors or getting lost, and a double clear round, ending the day in fourth place! Fabulous job everyone, so many improvements during camp this week, great to see all the hard work paying off!
